 Stables for the Bishop Burton Horse Trials.  24 hour period 3pm to 3pm.

Payment Details & Event Fees

Bookings online in advance only. You can book using our Secure Online Entry System.
Payment is secure and it goes directly to Bishop Burton College.
You will receive an email confirmation of your booking and payment.

Stabling Information: Yes

Stable cost is £35 per night, no bedding will be provided, stable MUST be left as found.
Bedding and haylage can be purchased at £8.60 a bale each.

Withdrawals/Refunds

Cancellation and Refund Policy: Please note Bishop Burton College operates a cancellation policy of 48hrs notice. Bishop Burton cannot refund stable bookings with notice of less than 48hrs nor can these bookings be amended or transferred to future dates. Bishop Burton will refund* any stable bookings within the 48hr period which are supported by a copy of a valid veterinary or doctor’s certificate which must be supplied prior to refunding. *excluding MRL online £1.50 booking fee

Stables must be left as found. 

COVID-19 Conditions of Use

Clients must NOT attend Bishop Burton College if they:
• Have been instructed to self-isolate by NHS 111 or NHS Tract & Trace
• Are in a household that is self-isolating
• Have shown any of the following symptoms in the last 14 days:
o A new continuous cough
o An elevated temperature/fever above 37.8c
o A loss of smell or taste
• Have come into contact with anyone with a confirmed case of Covid-19 without wearing appropriate medical-grade PPE.

Conditions of Hire
• Payments must be contactless and in advance of booking.
• Social distancing must be maintained at all times.
• Please ensure a distance of 6 metres between all vehicles.
• There will be hand sanitiser at the gate into the arena, which must be used when entering and exiting the arena.
• Up to 6 people can attend per hire session, but from no more than 2 separate households and social distancing must be maintained at all times.
• Spectators are not permitted.
• Clients must arrive and leave promptly – please do not wait around to socialise or watch other hire groups.
• There will be a 30-minute gap before and after your hire for cleaning to take place.
• Please only go into the arena that you have hired, even if you see that other ones are empty.
• Do not run over your time slot.
• All poo to be picked up in the arena and car park (gloves to be worn when handling the equipment).
• Show jumping course must be left ready for next hire – poles on cups, fences left at approx. 90cm, and please do not change the positioning of the ‘track’ other than to alter any distances to be safe for your horse/pony.
• Please ensure you wear gloves when handling any equipment and fences and sanitise hands regularly throughout.
• Toilets will be available, but we ask wherever possible please use your own facilities, if you have them.
• All use of facilities is at your own risk.
• Please report any breakages.
• Clients are responsible for ensuring they train/exercise their horses within combinations ability and fitness level.

Equine Influenza Vaccinations: Primary vaccinations with an in-date 12-month booster. Spot checks will be carried out.

Bishop Burton College can only offer its facilities for hire on the understanding that these measures are adhered to. Bishop Burton College does not accept any responsibility or liability for any injury, accident, damage or illness to any person, property or animal whatsoever, or for any loss whatsoever, arising out of, or occurring at any competition, show, hire or event. It shall be a condition of entry/hire of the Centre that each entrant shall indemnify the organisers against any legal action whatsoever arising from any accident.

Your booking and payment confirm your agreement to these conditions of use. Please take them seriously as non-compliance will result in being asked to leave with no refund forthcoming.
