The aim of the show is to give competitors the opportunity to try competing in formats less familiar to themselves. This could be long arena tests, music tests or maybe the next step up. Each class can be entered individually, or in combination. Each horse can ride a maximum of two tests per day.

Rules and Restrictions
Intro classes – Rider not to have competed at Elementary or above
Prelim and Novice classes – Horse and Rider are not to have won three times at the level above. Not to have won more than 5 BD points
Elementary classes and above – Open to all
Run under BD rules. Competition ridden indoors with warm up in the outdoor arena. Classes will run concurrently. Placings may be restricted if limited entries in line with BD rules

Access to warm up strictly for 30mins prior to test times, cool down 5 mins following test - maximum 6 horses in outdoor arena at any one time. Tests will be ridden consecutively or as near as possible. Each rider may bring one additional person with them to assist only. No assistants in the warm up or competition arena, although a caller will be permitted during the test. Social distancing and personal hygiene must be strictly adhered to. Any deviations from government guidelines will result in being asked to leave the site and no refunds will be given. Follow any directions on site at all times. Usual terms and conditions apply.

Results will be available online at the end of the day and sheets/rosettes will be posted to competitors, therefore please check your address is entered on My Riding Life.

The secretary's office will be closed. Any issues on site please attract the attention of a member of uniformed staff and we will come outside to assist.

These competitions are going to be slightly different than usual, so we can adhered to government guidelines Re: Covid 19 and keeping everybody safe. Please follow all our show centre instructions to make this enjoyable and a safe experience for everyone involved.
