Starting Times:
Games to commence at 10:00am. There will be six games selected from the below. They will be chosen on the day.
Class 1: Bending Race, Class 2: 2 Mug Race, Class 3: Sock Race, Class 4: Lucky Dip/Tyre Race, Class 5: Ride and Run, Class 6: Musical Sacks, (Lead Rein only- subject to change dependent on Covid regulations)

Open to THRC members and non-members
Competitors and runners will be offered anti-bacterial gel after each race in line with Covid-19 guidelines (Please see next page for further information about COVID-19 compliance)
(Non-members MUST complete the Non-Member COVID-19 Event Declaration Form & email this to the event organiser BEFORE the event. This form is on our website)
This show complies with the current Government & BRC advice on social distancing due to COVID-19 (see below)

Gymkhana Specific Rules:
• No Gags or Bits with Curb Chains or Market Harboroughs (American and Dutch Gags are acceptable).
• Tidy dress is expected, coloured jodhpurs and coloured hats may be worn, there is no need to wear jackets, but correct footwear must be worn.
• Please note all juniors must wear long sleeves at all times when riding.
• Riders must wear hats PAS 015 (1998 or 2011), VG1 001.040 (2014-12), ASTM 1163 (2004a or 04a onwards), SNELL E2001 or E2016, AS/NZS 3838 (2006 onwards). All with BSI Kitemark or Inspec IC Mark. Any other standards / dates are NOT acceptable.
• To be eligible for points towards trophies you must be a member by April 30th.

Terms & Conditions
THRC General Rules
• Riders must wear hats PAS 015 (1998 or 2011), VG1 001.040 (2014-12), ASTM 1163 (2004a or 04a onwards), SNELL E2001 or E2016, AS/NZS 3838 (2006 onwards). All with BSI Kitemark or Inspec IC Mark. Any other standards / dates are NOT acceptable.
• Judged under Affiliated Riding Club Rules. The Judges’ decision is final.
• Only competing horses/ponies may be ridden on the showground on show days.

*COVID-19 Compliance: PLEASE KEEP TO CURRENT SOCIAL DISTANCING GUIDELINES WHEN ON SHOWGROUND *these are subject to change according to current restrictions.
Anyone that does not comply with event protocols will be disqualified and asked to leave the site immediately. There will be no exceptions to this rule.
Anyone displaying COVID-19 symptoms, however mild, should stay at home.
Anyone who has been in contact with someone that is showing symptoms should stay at home. Anyone considered vulnerable should stay at home.
In line with BRC compliance and government advice, THRC must limit the numbers on site and follow certain protocols as follows:
• The rider plus one helper for each horse. In addition to this, one extra additional person may be permitted per junior or disabled rider. NO SPECTATORS
• There will be hand sanitiser available, but we would encourage you to bring your own.
• Please wear gloves at all times.
• Toilets available, but please adhere to social distancing.
• There will be no refreshments.
• Competitor names will be checked on arrival.
• Please adhere to current Government guidelines in respect of social distancing rules
• Competitors are asked not to arrive more than half an hour before their allotted class time and should leave the showground as soon as possible when they have finished.

Parking:
Only lorries or trailers with the competing horses/ponies are allowed at this event – no extra cars are permitted. Our Club field is big enough to accommodate everyone with plenty of room for social distancing. Lorries/trailers should be the parked at least 5m apart, preferably more.
