KEEP YOUR DISTANCE FROM OTHERS AT ALL TIMES!! The purpose of the event is to participate in competitive affiliated showjumping - it is not a meeting place in which to socialise. All attendees must abide by all rules at all times. Anyone deemed to be breaking any rule will be required to immediately leave the showground. (No refunds will be payable.)

NO CAR ENTRY AND NO SPECTATORS ALLOWED.

ALL ATTENDEES MUST PROVIDE THEIR OWN PROTECTIVE GLOVES AND WEAR THESE AT ALL TIMES. FACE MASKS/FACE COVERS ARE RECOMMENDED. Sanitiser is available at the venue

Riders are permitted 'helpers' at 1 per horse competing. ALL PROPOSED ATTENDEES MUST BE LISTED WITH THEIR FULL NAMES WHERE REQUESTED WITH THE ONLINE ENTRY AND MUST ARRIVE WITH THE RIDER AND HORSES IN THE HORSEBOX. GROOMS/ASSISTANTS/HELPERS MAY NOT ENTER THE WARM UP ARENA.

Note Warm up time -  is strictly allocated in groups of five maximum. Warm up times will be on an allocated time basis and will be a rolling entry - first five drawn in class commence,  then as one rider leaves the warm up area,  the next in draw will be permitted to enter.

ENTRY FOR EACH DAY WILL CLOSE WHEN AT FULL COVID-19 RESTRICTED CAPACITY, ELSE:  midnight on Monday 10th May. 

Start times will be published PER COMBINATION / PER CLASS ENTRY and will appear in the drawn order which will be displayed on the website by approximately 20:00 on 12/5 and 13/5 and 14/5 for each of  Friday, Saturday and Sunday respectively

IN THE INTEREST OF ENABLING EFFICIENT ORGANISATION OF THESE EVENTS WE ASK FOR YOUR EARLIEST ENTRY PLEASE! A LATE ENTRY ADMIN FEE APPLICABLE AFTER MIDNIGHT OF Monday  10/5   +£2 per class entry will be charged.

Participants must present to warm up and to the competition ring at their alloted times unless these have been officially amended. iF YOU MISS YOUR SLOT YOU WILL NOT BE PERMITTED TO JUMP AND NO REFUND WILL BE PAYABLE.

IT IS THE HORSE OWNER & RIDER’S RESPONSIBILITY TO CHECK ELIGIBILITY FOR ANY CLASS.
PLEASE BE SURE TO STATE SECTION ENTERED CLEARLY ON DUAL SECTION CLASSES – SECTION CANNOT BE AMENDED AFTER JUDGING HAS COMMENCED IF YOU DO NOT STATE SECTION ON ENTERING CLEARLY, YOU WILL BE PLACED IN THE UNRESTRICTED / OPEN SECTION

Stabling Information: Yes

 LIMITED STABLING AVAILABLE - please book online including haylage and shavings if required. The boxes will be allocated by text message on the morning of  Thursday 13/5. 

Please maintain social distancing when using stabling and wear protective gloves at all times. 

NO CAFE EXCEPT TAKEAWAY  AND NO SHOWERING FACILITIES - THOSE STAYING OVERNIGHT AT THE SHOWGROUND MUST BE SELF SUFFICIENT WITHIN THEIR OWN HORSE BOX. NO PARTIES, NO BARBECUES ARE PERMITTED - THIS IS A RESTRICTED SHOW UNDER CURRENT COVID-19 GOVERNMENT STIPULATIONS WHIC HEVERYONE MUST ABIDE BY FOR COMPETITION TO BE PERMITTED TO CONTINUE - AND FOR YOUR OWN OPTIMUM SAFETY!!

 

Prize Information

There will be no prize giving ceremony except of limited format where indicated for the second round qualifying classes. Rosettes for other classes may be collected from the Show Office.

Results will be published on the website and on the SouthView Facebook page

Prize money will be repaid to the original booking account/original payment means EXCEPT where monies won exceed entry payments made - we will need your bank info to be able to pay prize money to you in that instance but please DO NOT provide these unless/until asked. The request will be sent by email to the booker from office@southviewarena.com and verfication details will be included.

Refreshments:

Refreshments will be Take Away only. Please observe Covid-19 distancing rules on queuing.

Toilets will be open with one way access - enter through main foyer and exit via indoor standing space/collecting ring area.

PLEASE USE YOUR OWN  HORSE BOX FACILITIES.

Withdrawals/Refunds
CANCELLATIONS
All cancellation or withdrawal requests must be by the original booking party using the email address of the original booking transaction(s)  and must be sent to office@southviewarena.com.

ENTRY AND FIRST AID

UP UNTIL THE STATED CLOSING DATE (WHICH FOR THIS EVENT IS MIDNIGHT of  Monday 10/5/2021) YOU MAY CANCEL YOUR BOOKING AND YOU WILL BE REFUNDED MINUS THE FOLLOWING SUMS: THE £1.50 ONLINE BOOKING FEE AS CHARGED AND ALWAYS RETAINED BY THE ONLINE BOOKING SYSTEM PROVIDERS, THE COMMISSION/FEES AS CHARGED  AND ALWAYS RETAINED BY THE PAYMENT HANDLING OPERATORS (CURRRENTLY PAYPAL), AND A £5 CANCELLATION ADMIN FEE APPLICABLE PER SEPARATE BOOKING/PER SEPARATE CANCELLATION REQUESTED.

After this closing date : a 50% refund of entry fee plus relevant first aid charges will be allowed if the cancellation is made BY EMAIL to office@southviewarena.com,  prior to NOON OF THE DAY WHICH IS TWO DAYS prior to the day of the class to be cancelled. Thereafter NO REFUND will be payable on withdrawal of entries regardless of circumstance, saving the specific Covid 19 stipulations as detailed below.. 

STABLES/HOOKUP

Bookings may not be privately sold nor transferred to third parties - anyone attenpting to use a stable booked by othersill be required to leave and no refunds will be payable.

Stables may only be used for a horse competing at he event for which they are provided.  

Hookup - A constant supply of electric is not guaranteed - if you require this please bring your own generator. All equipment on a lorry requiring hookup must have an up to date PAT certificate (including connection leads). Hookup must be purchased per vehicle and may not be shared between multiple vehicles.

 

We do not at any stage need to be informed of your reason for withdrawal/cancellation and  vets certificates / medical certificates are NOT required. (saving the specific Covid 19 stipulations as detailed below.) 

 
Special Rules re. Covid-19:
Should the event have to be completely cancelled due to a change in Government or Local Council Regulations with regard to Covid-19,  you will be refunded as per a pre-closing date cancellation as detailed above.
 
If you need to cancel your booking because your attendance is compromised by such regulations (i.e. your travel for participation in approved regulated sport is forbidden by law be this at local or Government level) then provided the cancellation is made immediately this is formally and publicly announced, then the standard pre-closing date cancellation refund rules will apply.
Excepting these circumstances all cancellations due to or related to covid 19 will be processed in line with normal cancellation/refund rules. 
 
Refunds due in accordance with these terms, and including prize monies payable will be paid via the booking system payment handling provider within 28 days of the last day of the event, or with 28 days of cancellation of the event should that occur.
