Show Information

 

The same combination may ride more than one test, but not in the same class. You can only enter 2 consecutive classes, i.e. 1&2, 2&3, 3&4 etc

 

 

·        Horses on the showground must be fully vaccinated up to date, passport must be brought and some competitors will be asked to make them available for spot check

 

·        You must ensure your name and contact number is included as a reference for track and trace and email your entry to the secretary, entries will only be accepted once payment has been received via BACS with riders names as reference

·        Priority will be given to CHRC members and the classes will be limited

·        Entries close Tuesday before the competition

·        Under BD rules there will be 6/7 min per competitor

·        Only one person allowed to accompany each horse & rider travelling in same lorry or towing vechicle and No additional spectators

·        Times will be emailed to you on the Thursday before the show

There are now 4 Dressage Challenge Shields to be won, Intro, Prelim, Novice & Elementary. Members will get points when they are placed in each class, 6 points for 1st, 5 points for 2nd etc down to 1 point for 6th. The points will be updated and put on our web site after each show and published in the newsletter. The shields will be presented at the Club AGM later in the year with amazing rosettes from 1st to 6th place in the challenge

Amersham Livery Dressage Rules

You must bring your own water for horse and yourself

You must not enter the livery yard for any reason

Dogs on leads only in lorry park

 

You must take home all rubbish and droppings

 

 

CHALFONT HEIGHTS RIDING CLUB RULES AND CONDITIONS

1.     The competiion is run under British Dressage rules

2.      ONLY ONE PERSON MAY ACCOMPANY EACH COMPETITOR, AND EXTRA 1 IF YOU ARE BRINGING 2 HORSES

3.      Names and contact details of all those attending must be given with your entry and any changes must be notified before hte event.

4.      There will be a porta loo in the car park

5.      Number in the warm up arena will be limited

6.      There will be no score board 

7.      Competitors are asked to respect all social distancing regularly at all times and to park well spaced from other competitors.

8.      If you are travelling togeter you must enter the same classes.

9.      Once you have competed and cooled down, you are asked to load your horse and leave the site.  Sadly this is not a socialising show.

10.    NO CHILDREN are to attend this dressage competition as spectators

11.    Please use YOUR OWN bridle/numnah numbers.

12.    Competitors are asked not to congregate around the secretary.

13.     NO STALLIONS are permitted on the showground.

14.     ROSETTES to 6th place in each section.

15.     ENTRIES will close prior to the closing date if full. PRIORITY entry will be provided to club members where possible.

16.     HORSES & PONIES must be 4 years and above to enter, and only those entered to be brought onto the showground.

17.     HEALTH & SAFETY The Organisers of this event have taken reasonable precautions to ensure the Health & Safety of everyone present.  For these measures to be effective everyone must take all reasonable precautions to avoid and prevent accidents occurring and obey the instructions of the Organiser and all Officials and Stewards.

18.     LIABILITY The Owners/Organisers will not accept any responsibility for any accident injury illness or loss of property howsoever caused.

19.     HARD HATS to BSI standard PAS 015 –En 1384 or ASTM F1163 must be worn at all times whilst mounted with harness in place.

20.   CORRECT FOOTWEAR must be worn when mounted.

21.   CHILDREN & PUSHCHAIRS must be kept away from practice areas and collecting rings.

22.  DOGS must be kept on a lead at all times

23.   REFUNDS for entry fees only refunded on production of a valid vet or doctor’s certificate.

24.   OBJECTIONS must be made in writing within 15 minutes of the end of the class with a £10.00 deposit, which will be forfeit if the objection is over-ruled.

25.   RESERVATION The organisers reserve the right to cancel any class if deemed necessary and to refuse an entry without having to state the reason.

26.   LITTER must be taken home, and horse-boxes must not be mucked out on the premises.

27.   FOUL Language and abusive behaviour will not be tolerated.

28.   The Judge’s decision is FINAL.

29.  Times wil be emailed an put on the website Thursday before each competition

30.  VACCINATION CERTIFICATES It is expected that all equines brought onto the showground have current vaccination certificates for equine influenza.  ONLY HORSES AND PONIES WITH UP TO DATE FLU AND TET JABS ON THEIR PASSPORTS WILL BE ALLOWED TO COMPETE.  WE RESERVE THE RIGHT TO CHECK ON ENTRY TO AAMERSHAM LIVERY  AND YOU WILL BE TURNED AWAY IF THEY CANNOT BE PRODUCED, NO EXCEPTIONS
