This competition is run on a Tuesday evening – first class to start at approximately 16:30-17:00. Entries will be limited due to daylight hours, please enter early to avoid disappointment.
Times: Please go online to: www.solihullridingclub.co.uk on the Monday (day before) from 2:00pm. Any special requests must be clearly put onto entry.

Show Information
Entries close the preceding Friday at 12 noon. If classes are full a waiting list will be kept.
Classes will be judged under BD rules:2 x bridle numbers required (one on each side) or -2 point deduction.
Horses may only enter once in each class competitively.

OPEN/RESTRICTED SECTIONS:
Classes at Introductory and Preliminary level will be split into OPEN and RESTRICTED sections if there are more than six starters. The RESTRICTED section is open only to combinations who have not been placed first or second at the level of the class or above more than three times with a score of more than 65.00% or who have not been placed first or second at a Championship at the level of the class or above. The OPEN section is open to all, including horses/ponies and riders who are currently registered with British Dressage. The appropriate classes at Championships will also be split accordingly.

Payment Details & Event Fees
NO entries accepted on the day. ONLY entries in advance using our Secure Online Entry System.
Payment is secure and it goes directly to Solihull Riding Club.
You will receive an email confirmation of your class entry and payment.
Telephone entries will be taken at a charge of £2 per class.

Training sections available at £2.00 discount per class (for those wanting to ride H.C.)

Special Classes
Qualifiers for the Solihull Riding Club Championships Saturday 10th October 2021 - First 6 in each section qualify for the championships
All classes are also Cricklands and Trailblazers Qualifiers

Withdrawals/Refunds
Withdrawals: In the unfortunate event of withdrawal, please advise the secretary by mid-day Friday prior to the competition. We regret no refunds will be made after the Friday.

Terms & Conditions
General Rules
HATS must be worn whenever mounted and conform to PAS015 (1998 or 2011). VG01.040 2014-12. with a BSI Kite mark or Inspec IC mark ASTM F1163.2004a onwards with SEI mark SNELL E2001 or 2016 (No additional mark required) ONLY Jockey skull hats without a peak (greater than 5mm smooth and rounded in nature) may be worn for cross country. Hat silks may be worn with flexible peak. It must also comply with the above safety standards for hats.
BODY PROTECTORS A body protector is obligatory for all arena eventing and cross-country events and are also strongly recommended for all show jumping events. A BETA Level 3 (Purple label) which has a 2009 label or 2018 Blue label must be worn. Body protectors should be fitted and worn as per the manufacturer’s instructions. If a rider chooses to wear an airbag style body protector it must be worn over a permitted body protector and if activated, must be deflated or removed before continuing. Hybrid Air jackets and Helite Air Jackets are permitted. It is recommended that body protectors are replaced once they are more than 5 years old. Riders wearing Exo Body Cage protectors must inform the secretary at all events.
CORRECT dress & footwear with defined heels must be worn.
ALL horses and ponies must be four years old and over.
ENTRIES accepted at rider’s risk. SRC reserve the right to refuse an entry at their discretion, cancel, amend or amalgamate any class for any reason whatsoever. The Judge’s decision is final.
INSURANCE Each competitor must carry their own liability insurance whether Riding Club, Pony Club, BHS, BS, BD, BE or independent cover.
HEALTH & SAFETY The organisers of this event have taken reasonable precautions to ensure the health and safety of everyone present. For these measures to be effective everyone must take all reasonable precautions to avoid and prevent accidents occurring and must obey the instructions of the organisers and all the officials and stewards. Those attending this event must report any accidents to the secretary or organizer of the event Please do not leave unattended horses tied to lorries and no hay nets to be tied to the outside of lorries or trailers. Solihull Riding Club welcomes responsible dog owners. Dogs must be kept on a lead at all times.

DISCLAIMER OF LIABILITY save for the death or injury caused by the negligence of the organisers of the event, no liability is accepted for any accident, loss or damage, injury or illness to horses, ponies, owners, riders, spectators, vehicles their contents and accessories, or any other person or property whatsoever, whether caused by their negligence, breach of contract or in any way whatsoever.

COVID-19 precautions
You must not attend site if you, or any of those travelling with you, or anyone from your household is exhibiting any symptoms of being unwell.
Social distancing of 2 metres or more must be strictly adhered to at all times.
Please only bring one helper with you. TRACK AND TRACE FORM REQUIRED
We will not accept anyone just “turning up”.
The toilets may be limited, and the main building will be closed to visitors.
No person should enter any other Lorry or car/trailer, or move close to any other rider, client, instructor, official or member of staff or any other member of the public at any time.
You will have an allotted time for your test, please only arrive on site a maximum of 1.25 hours before your time and leave as promptly as possible afterwards, to ensure limited numbers on site at any time.
Please do not enter the arena more than 45 minutes before your allotted time in order to warm up..
Please ensure you bring an adequate supply of water for you and your horse.
Government guidelines could change quickly at any time; therefore Solihull Riding Club reserve the right to close site at short notice.
NO SPECTATORS ALLOWED
