Points are allocated depending on the number of starters; every one in five registered starters is eligible for points. If
you gain a double clear you will receive three points regardless of starters. If a combination competes in more than two
consecutive height classes per show day only the points from the bigger classes will be graded.
British Showjumping Boots / Leg Protection Ruling applies to this class, in accordance with Rule 102.15. Failure to
comply will incur disqualification.

For registered horses in grade C which have not won a total of 225 points, (unless Age Rule applies), to be ridden by
Adult, Associate or Junior Members.
The first 8 horses qualify for the final, held at the Blue Chip Winter Championships. Qualification does not pass down
the line. There will be dual qualification of double clears for the Nupafeed Supplements Discovery second round. (Age
rule applies)
Please note that in accordance with the amendment to BS Rule 314 all 5yr old horses are now eligible regardless of
points won, but to qualify the horse must be 5yrs old in the year of the Final ie 2021. Therefore any horses which are
5yrs old from 1st October 2020 to 31st December 2020 and have won more than 225 points are unable to qualify in any
qualifiers held from 1st October 2021 to 31st December 2021. Qualification does not pass down the line.
Riders who qualify must submit their details at www.bluechipchamps.co.uk to register their qualification.

Final - in accordance with Rule 312.6.
Four double clears will qualify for the Senior Newcomers Second Rounds. Qualifying period: The Senior Newcomers
Second Round qualifying period for the 2022 second rounds is 1 May '21 – 30 April '22 (subject to revision).

• Foxhunter:
(a) For registered horses in Grade C that have not won a total of 700 points. Four double clears will qualify - in
accordance with rule 310.6
(b) For all registered horses born on or after 1 January 2014, irrespective of points. Horses will be eligible for double
clear qualification to attend second rounds providing they reach the age of seven years or under in the same calendar
year as the Foxhunter Final - in accordance with rule 310.6 Four double clears will qualify.
Four double clears will qualify for the Senior Foxhunter Second Rounds. Qualifying period: The Senior Foxhunter Second
Round qualifying period for the 2022 second rounds is 1 May '21 – 30 April '22 (subject to revision).
Those horses that have qualified for the Senior Foxhunter Championship in 2021 are not eligible for qualification to the
2022 Championship.
If combined with an open: In the event of 30 or more starters the class will be split with two sets of prize money.

For registered horses in Grades B&C to be ridden by Adult, Associate or Junior members.
This is a handicap class, the Grade B start height is 1.30m and the Grade C start height is 1.25m.
The first 8 horses qualify for the final, held at the Blue Chip Winter Championships. Qualification does not pass down
the line. Qualified Grade C horses which upgrade after the qualification will compete in the Grade C section of the final.
However, if they qualify again as a Grade B again, they will compete in the Grade B section of the final. There will be
dual qualification of double clears for the National B&C Handicap Championship.
Riders who qualify must submit their details at www.bluechipchamps.co.uk to register their qualification.

Entries in advance or on the day. You can enter using our Secure Online Entry System. Payment is secure and it goes directly to The Grange EC. You will receive an email confirmation of your booking and payment.
First Aid £3 per rider.
Affiliated shows are required to repay 50 % of the entry fees in respect of all entry cancellations which are received by the Show Organiser not later than 48 hours before noon of the day on which the first affiliated competition of the show is scheduled to start except in those circumstances outlined in Rule 79.5
