Course plans will be on our website 2 days before each show. The course can also be walked on the day, subject to social distancing rules as required.

Terms & Conditions
COVID-19 Compliance: PLEASE KEEP TO CURRENT SOCIAL DISTANCING GUIDELINES WHEN ON SHOWGROUND

Anyone that does not comply with event protocols will be disqualified and asked to leave the site immediately. There will be no exceptions to this rule.

Anyone displaying COVID-19 symptoms, however mild, should stay at home. Anyone who has been in contact with someone that is showing symptoms should stay at home. Anyone considered vulnerable should stay at home.

In line with BRC compliance and government advice, THRC must limit the numbers on site and follow certain protocols as follows:
• The rider plus one helper for each horse. In addition to this, one extra additional person may be permitted per junior or disabled rider. NO SPECTATORS • There will be hand sanitiser available but we would encourage you to bring your own • Please wear gloves at all times. • There will be NO TOILETS available. • There will be no refreshments. • Competitor names will be checked on arrival. • Please adhere to current Government guidelines in respect of social distancing rules • Competitors are asked not to arrive more than half an hour before their allotted time and should leave the showground as soon as possible when they have finished. Parking: Only lorries or trailers with the competing horses/ponies are allowed at this event – no extra cars are permitted. Our Club field is big enough to accommodate everyone with plenty of room for social distancing. Lorries/trailers should be the parked at least 5m apart, preferably more. Jumping: • Competitors will be given an allotted time to jump. • Due to current restrictions it is not possible to allow a course walk – there will be a course plan available. *This may change by the show date*. • Jumping warm up - competitors will be given a maximum of 20 mins warm up in the jump arena. This arena will have a maximum of 5 riders in the arena at any one time and you will have a THRC official helping with the poles and jumps. No other competitors or people will be allowed in the arena. • When you have jumped your round/competitors must leave the main arena and either walk directly back to their designated parking area or they are allowed to cool down in the grass arena for a maximum of 10 minutes. Again, there will be a maximum of 5 riders allowed in this area at any one time. • Rosettes will be placed on a table at the exit of the main ring for collection at the end of the class. Hand santiser will be available on this table.

General Rules
• All heights approximate in the first round. • Classes will be split Juniors / Seniors if entries permit. • Riders must wear hats PAS 015 (1998 or 2011), VG1 001.040 (2014-12), ASTM 1163 (2004a or 04a onwards), SNELL E2001 or E2016, AS/NZS 3838 (2006 onwards). All with BSI Kitemark or Inspec IC Mark. Any other standards / dates are NOT acceptable. • Judged under Affiliated Riding Club Rules. Judges’ decision is final. No Horse to jump in more than 3 show jumping classes. A Horse/Pony may only compete once in a class. • Only competing horses/ponies may be ridden on the showground on show days.
