Rule 316. Horses (or ponies in pony competitions) may compete in one section only. In the event of insufficient entries lower prizes will be withheld. Rule - 76.6 • British Novice: Entry qualifications: to be ridden by Adult, Associate or Junior Members. a) For Horses in Grade C that have not won a total of 125 points. Four Double Clears will qualify - in accordance with Rule 316.6. b) For all horses born on or after 1 January 2016 irrespective of points. Horses will only be eligible for double clear qualification to Second Rounds if they reach the age of four years or under in the same calendar year as the British Novice Final - in accordance with Rule 316.6Qualifies for: Senior British Novice Championship - Second Round. Qualifying period:1st May - 30th April inclusive. Numbers to qualify: Those horses which jump a clear round in the first round, followed by a clear round in the jump-off, in at least four Senior British Novice First Round competitions held in any qualifying period will qualify to compete in the Senior British Novice Second Rounds, irrespective of their placings for prize money in those competitions, which will be determined by the normal Table A rules (Rule 191). Horses in the class must go in to the jump-off and go clear to gain a double clear round qualification. If combined with an open: In Category 1 Shows and in the event of 30 starters or more the Open and the British Novice section will be split with two sets of prize money awarded. In Category 2 Shows the sections must always be split with two sets of prize money awarded, irrespective of starters. • 90cm Open:For registered horses to be ridden by Adult, Associate or Junior Members.

Rule - 76.6 • Discovery: a) For Horses in Grade C that have not won a total of 225 points. Four Double Clears will qualify - in accordance with Rule 314.6. b) For all horses born on or after 1 January 2015 irrespective of points. Horses will only be eligible for double clear qualification to Second Rounds if they reach the age of five years or under in the same calendar year as the Discovery Final - in accordance with Rule 314.6. Qualifies for: Nupafeed Supplements Discovery Championship Second Round. Qualifying period: 1st May-30th April inclusive. Numbers to qualify: Those horses that jump a clear round in the first round, followed by a clear round in the jump-off, in at least four First Round competitions held in any qualifying period, will qualify to compete in the Second Rounds, irrespective of their placings for prize money in those competitions, which will be determined by the normal Table A Rules (Rule 191). Rule - 76.6 • Newcomers: (a) For registered horses in Grade C that have not won a total of 375 points. Four double clears will qualify - in accordance with rule 312.6 (b) For all horses born on or after 1st January 2014, irrespective of Points. Horses will only be eligible for double clear qualification to Second Rounds if they reach the age of six years or under in the same calendar year as the Newcomers Final - in accordance with Rule 312.6. Four double clears will qualify for the Senior Newcomers Second Rounds. Qualifying period: The Senior Newcomers Second Round qualifying period for 2019/2020 (2020 second rounds and finals) is 1 June - 31 May inclusive. The Senior Newcomers Second Round qualifying period for 2020/2021 (2021 second rounds and finals) is 1 May – 30 April (subject to revision). If combined with an open: In the event of 30 or more starters the class will be split with two sets of prize money. • 1.10m Open: For registered horses ridden by Adult, Associate or Junior Members.

Four double clears will qualify - in accordance with rule 310.6 (b) For all registered horses born on or after 1 January 2013, irrespective of points. Horses will be eligible for double clear qualification to attend second rounds providing they reach the age of seven years or under in the same calendar year as the Foxhunter Final - in accordance with rule 310.6 Four double clears will qualify. Four double clears will qualify for the Senior Foxhunter Second Rounds. Qualifying period: The Senior Foxhunter Second Round qualifying period for 2019/2020 (2020 second rounds and finals) is 1 June - 31 May inclusive. The Senior Foxhunter Second Round qualifying period for 2020/2021 (2021 second rounds and finals) 1 May – 30 April (subject to revision). Those horses that have qualified for the Senior Foxhunter Championship in 2020 are not eligible for qualification to the 2021 Championship. All day Tickets must be purchased though British Show Jumping This online ticket is for the horse/rider combination for the whole day You will receive a Ticket number – this must be included on your entry

Withdrawals/Refunds

Affiliated shows are required to repay 50 % of the entry fees in respect of all entry cancellations which are received by the Show Organiser not later than 48 hours before noon of the day on which the first affiliated competition of the show is scheduled to start except in those circumstances outlined in Rule 79.5.

Terms & Conditions

· All entries and payments to be made online.

· Any visitor who displays any symptoms or suspects they may have contracted Covid-19 must obviously not attend the venue.

· Prior to leaving home all participants should take their own and accompanying persons temperature, if there is any doubt, they should not attend the centre.

· PLEASE PRINT/MAKE YOUR OWN ALLOCATED RIDER NUMBER OR USE YOUR NUMBER DISK. NUMBERS WILL BE ALLOCATED WITH TIMES. THIS MUST BE WORN AT ALL TIMES AND MUST BE EASILY READABLE. ALL VEHICLES MUST DISPLAY THEIR ASSOCIATED RIDERS NUMBER IN THEIR WINDSCREEN.

· Face masks must be worn indoors, except whilst riding.

· No person that attends the centre should be within 2 metres of any other attendee or staff for in excess of 10 minutes.

· All activity will be in accordance with the advice from the relevant national body, and social distancing guidelines must always be adhered to.

· Please keep your time on site to a minimum, please don’t arrive more than 40 minutes before your test/round/ride time and leave the site as soon as it is safe for your horse to travel.

· There is strictly no entry to the office or yard areas.

· The toilets will be open but there is a one in one out policy in place. These will be serviced and cleaned regularly.

· Hand sanitising stations will be provided, and members are encouraged to take home their rubbish where possible.

· Please park considerately, a safe distance from each other. Current recommendations are 10m apart if there is tying up on both sides of your box; 5m where tying up is on one side, and 3m apart if no tying up is used.

· All competitors are allowed one supporter per horse. For full details please see home page of our website.

· SJ Warm up - - Max 6 PEOPLE - 5 riders and 1 grooms/attendants will be allowed; priority will be given to the attendants for the riders who are top of the list to go forward to the collecting ring.

· All grooms/attendants must sanitise hands before touching any poles, wings, cups etc.

· Warm up time will be limited by numbers allowed in arena to an estimated 20 minutes.

· You are expected to ride on your allocated times. If you do not do so, you risk being unable to compete.

· We ask that competitors maintain social distancing when riding and, once you have finished competing, you leave the site as promptly as possible.

· No scoreboards or screens will be used on event and all scores/results will be published online at the end of the day.

Dogs are allowed but MUST be kept on a short lead at all times. No Exceptions.
