Terms & Conditions
Body Protectors and Hard Hats to the current BSI standard must be worn by all riders at all times when mounted. Medical armbands are recommended.
1. Horses and ponies can be ridden only once in each class. No horse to do more than two classes on one day 2. No entries will be accepted by post or telephone. 3. Scoring for classes all individual and pairs classes will be decided by the clear round and a bogey time. The 80 and 90 Pairs classes will be judged on a bogey time based on a fair hunting pace, with no jumping or dressing penalties. 4. Any competitor eliminated must leave the course immediately at a walk as directed by stewards. 5. Any competitor in difficulty at a fence, must make way for a following competitor, who is about to overtake. 6. Riders are responsible for checking their own start number in advance of the event and printing 3 copies of this. One copy is to be clearly displayed in the windscreen of the horse lorry or towing vehicle, the other two copies are to be worn by the Rider 7. Due to Social Distancing requirements we are unable to accommodate spectators cars. 8. NO REFUNDS can be made, except for cancellation of the event, when entry fees will be returned less £5 per entry for administration costs. 9. The decision of the judges will be final and the committee reserve the right to cancel or amend any of the conditions or competitions as they think fit, and to refuse any entries, or to ask any person to leave the ground.10. Any objections must be made to the secretary in writing within 30 minutes of the published results, accompanied by a deposit of £20, returnable if the objection is sustained. The Organiser’s decision shall be final. 11. Neither the organisers nor LMEQ Ltd are responsible for anything that happens to competitors, spectators, their property or horses in connection with this event or arising out of this event. It shall be a condition that all entrants shall agree to indemnify the organisers and LMEQ against any legal action arising out of this event. 12. The organisers and LMEQ take reasonable precautions to ensure the health and safety of everyone present. For these measures to be effective everyone must take all reasonable precautions to avoid and prevent accidents occurring and must obey the instructions of the organisers, officials and stewards at all times. 13. Hunter Trial entries online via My Riding Life ONLY. Link to My Riding Life page on www.lmeq.com. 14. All clear round Showjumping entries will be on the day only (cash at ringside – please bring correct money).
15. To be run under Current Government Covid19 Guidelines, please check lmeq.com. Riders are responsible for ensuring the compliance with Covid19 restrictions of themselves and anyone associated with them. Any rider attending warrants that:
• Neither they, nor anybody in their household, have not been in contact with any person showing COVID or Viral symptoms in the last 14 days.
• Neither they, nor anybody in their group, have been advised to self-insolate for any reason in the past 14 days.
• All persons entering the site shall sanitise hands upon entry and carry their own hand sanitiser and hand wash equipment for use whilst on site. All persons shall have facial masks upon their person to be worn as appropriate.
• They totally understand and agree to follow promptly any reasonable requests from a Steward regarding Social Distancing and any other restriction required for COVID management.
• They shall ensure that they at all times observe and abide by the ‘Rule of 6’. Each rider is permitted to bring a maximum of 1 groom and 1 owner per horse plus no more than 3 dependent children. At no time shall any contingent exceed 6 people. Each rider is responsible for ensuring their compliance with Covid19 rules,
• Should you, or anyone in your household or extended bubble feel unwell DO NOT ATTEND
EVERY RIDER PARTICIPATING MUST DOWNLOAD A DISCLAIMER OF LIABILITY FROM www.lmeq.com AND RETURN TO THE ENTRY SECRETARY (at emily@lmeq.com) AT LEAST ONE WEEK IN ADVANCE OF THE COMPETITION. FAILURE TO SUMBIT DISCLAIMER MAY RESULT IN REFUSAL OF ENTRY. NO REFUNDS WILL BE GIVEN IN THESE CIRCUMSTANCES.
