Equestrian Legacy is excited to announce that we have collaborated with Martley Hall Stud, Suffolk to host a calendar of training clinics with our French International Dressage Coach Alain Francqueville. The Equestrian Legacy Program helps all generations of Equestrian Athletes by being the first to recognise and support ambitions, talent, and achievements through proactive, interactive, focused and committed mental coaching programmes combined with World Class International level technical coaching for select disciplines. This September, in collaboration with Martley Hall Stud we are excited to bring International Dressage coach and 4* FEI Judge Alain Francqueville from France for two days training; part of a full programme of dressage coaching and test riding events during 2020/21, we will also be offering all riders ‘One to One’ Mental Coaching for all participating riders as part of this programme.

This programme is for riders wishing to accelerate their skills and competition success. Our clinics will be a combination of technical training, test riding and mental coaching.

Alain Francqueville: International Dressage Trainer and Coach
Alain’s Francqueville’s career as a trainer/coach:
• Director of training and research of the French National riding school in Saumur for 9 years
• Member of the French Ministry of Youth and Sport
• Member of the FEI Dressage Committee (2008-2009)
Alain oversaw Dressage for 11 years for the French Federation, including the following:
• National Director of Dressage, French Federation (2 yrs)
• National trainer and selector French Federation; during his time as National trainer and selector the French team achieved 6th place at the Hong Kong Olympic Games: 1 rider qualified at the London Olympics; WEG Aachen 7th and European Championship 7th, 8th and 9th.
• French National Dressage Chef d’ Equipe, Young rider and juniors (9 yrs) and (11yrs) National Dressage Chef d’Equipe for the senior riders (Olympics x 2, WEG, European Championships and CDIO)
• 4* International FEI Dressage Judge

Alains Judging career started in 1975 and he has continued to be a member of the ground jury in various CDI3* events through the years, this includes the Balkan Championships in Bulgaria in 2013, the South East Asian games in Singapore 2015 and the European Junior and Children championships in Vidauban 2015. Alains career initially started as a rider for the French cavalry as a Major Officer, he was director of du cadre noir of Saumur (the French Cavalry school and National school of equitation) for 20 years. His role was as part Officer and as a member of Ministry of Youth and Sport.

Member of the French Show Jumping team CSI and European Championship 1964-65
Assistant of the National Trainer for Show Jumping 3 years in Samur.
National Rider for 3-day eventing Race Jockey.

Training programme format and costs.
This programme is run at Martley Hall over two days. Riders can book for one or more horses, prices include arena hire, Alain technician coaching, test riding and complementary mental coaching sessions are for all new riders joining the clinics. Riders can book for one day or two days. Riders are welcome to continue to watch other riders train while they are here.
Places are limited to 8 per day on first come first serve basis.

Payment Details & Event Fees
1st Horse £155 – Arena hire, 1 hr coaching with Alain and 20 minutes ‘one to one’ mental coaching session Sandie Chambers Legacy Coach. https://harryhall.com/blog/post/protechmasta-series-introducing-sandie-chambers 2nd Horse £130. Spectators: £25 per full half day £15 morning or afternoon. Refreshments will be available. COVID PPI and distancing rules will be adhered to each day. Parking is available and If riders wish to stable their horses overnight there is a reservation fee of £25 per night per horse (availability is limited).
