Entries close WEDNESDAY 11th November 2020 unless already full

COMPETITORS ARE REQUESTED NOT TO MUCK OUT HORSE BOXES ON THE SHOWGROUND AND TO PICK UP HORSES’ DROPPINGS FROM THE CAR PARK 

NO TYING UP IS ALLOWED

THE CLASS RUNNING ORDER WILL BE SUBJECT TO CHANGE DEPENDING ON ENTRIES
Commanders are allowed in all classes
The competition will be run in accordance with the 2020 Pony Club Dressage Rule Book and The Pony Club Spring Festival 2020/2021.
Working in will be in the indoor school. Tests ridden outdoors
All PC tests available to download on the Pony Club website
Please will competitors riding in the SPRING SERIES CLASSES report to the Tack
Check Steward 15 minutes before the time allotted for their test
THERE WILL BE NO PRIZE GIVING 

All competitions will be run under PC Rules 2020, with the additional caveats attached because of the Covid-19 situation. 

NUMBERS:  No numbers will be issued at the venue.  Please use bridle or numnah number

ü  Social distancing must be adhered to.  There needs to be a minimum of people on site.  At time of writing only competing children plus two adults from the same household may attend.  No other supporters please.  Please be aware of current Government restrictions, which may alter after these rules were written.

ü  Each event will have a limit on the number of riders allowed in the designated warm-up arenas at any one time. This information will be made available to you at the entrance to the warmup arena and the numbers will be controlled dependent upon current regulations and space available.  You MUST NOT RIDE IN ANY OTHER AREAS. 

ü  ARRIVE – COMPETE – LEAVE

ü  RESULTS: will be LIVE during the event.  Although you will get your scores live, you will not get your dressage sheets on the day, all scores will remain provisional until you are informed otherwise.

ü  VACCNATIONS: must be up to date with the annual vaccination.  If your horse has missed the annual renewal, then you will need to restart the course of injections again before competing.

PLEASE SPEND THE MINIMUM REQUIRED AMOUNT OF TIME ON SITE AND LEAVE AS SOON AS POSSIBLE ONCE YOU HAVE FINISHED COMPETING.  DO NOT WAIT TO SEE YOUR FRIENDS, TEMPTING THOUGH IT MAY BE!

DRESSAGE SHEETS CAN BE PHOTOGRAPHED ON THE DAY or ALTERNATIVELY YOU MAY LEAVE A STAMPED ADDRESSED ENVELOPE AND YOUR TEST WILL BE POSTED TO YOU

THE PONY CLUB SPRING DRESSAGE SERIES IS OPEN TO NON MEMBERS BUT IF YOU QUALIFY YOU MUST JOIN THE PONY CLUB ON THE DAY.

DUE TO OPEN GATES NO TYING UP IS ALLOWED

RULES AND CONDITIONS OF ENTRY
1. All persons entering the showground shall be bound by these Rules and Conditions of Entry. 2. The Judge’s decision is final. 3. The Organisers reserve the right to alter any part of the Schedule or to refuse entries without stating reasons. 4. In the event of cancellation, entry fees will be returned, less an administration fee of £3.50 per competitor, to offset costs. All money will be returned only upon receipt of an S.A.E. 5. This show will be run under the Pony Club Dressage Rules 2020 and the Spring Festival Dressage Rules 2020/2021 all available on the Pony Club website www.pcuk.org . A copy of which will be held with the Secretary on the day of the competition. 6. Any objection should be made in writing, accompanied by a deposit of £30.00. After due consideration of the objection, the judge’s decision is final. 7. No entries will be refunded unless a medical or veterinary certificate is produced within 7 days of the event. 8. Securely fastened hard hats must be worn at all times by everyone when mounted. Hats should be tagged must conform to PC/BD standards as set out in the rule book. Members should bring non-tagged hats to the secretary  Dark blue or black hats only please. 9. No horse or pony may be ridden more than once in a class. 10. Horses and ponies must be over 4 years old on the day of the competition. 11. No galloping anywhere on the showground, riders must only walk their horses/ponies in the car park. No lungeing. 12. Dogs must be on leads at all times. 13. Every eventuality cannot be provided for in these rules. In any unforeseen or exceptional circumstance, it is the duty of the relevant officials to make a decision in a sporting spirit and to approach as nearly as possible the intention of these rules
