Rider is not eligible if they have: • Previously competed at the Winter Series Open Grand Prix Championships; or • The Pony Club Show Jumping Final at Hickstead.

Individual entries only. 
Entries close: 6pm Monday 28th September 2020 (unless full).
Places are limited, a waiting list will be held. No entries will be taken on the day.
Competitors will jump one round of show jumps with a timed section. The fastest time with the fewest jumping penalties will decide the placings.

ARRIVE, COMPETE AND LEAVE
ALL CURRENT COVID-19 RESTRICTIONS WILL BE ADHERED TO ON THE DAY OF THE EVENT.
NO ADMISSION TO THE SHOW GROUND WITHOUT AN ENTRY & ONLY MEMBERS OF THE SAME HOUSEHOLD TO TRAVEL TOGETHER. PLEASE ENSURE YOU READ ALL THE RULES. THINGS ARE DIFFERENT FOR US ALL NOW AND WE MUST ABIDE BY THESE RULES.

Rules of Event and Conditions of Entry 1. Health, Safety and Welfare: The organisers of this event have taken all reasonable precautions to ensure the Health and Safety of everyone present at this event. For these measures to be effective, everyone must take all reasonable precautions to avoid and prevent accidents. They must obey the instructions of the organisers and all the Officials and Stewards. 2. Legal Liability: Save for the death or personal injury caused by the negligence of the organisers, or anyone for whom they are in law responsible, neither the organisers of this event to which these rules apply or The Pony Club nor any agent, employee or representative of these bodies, accepts any liability for any accident, loss, damage, injury or illness to horses, owners, riders, spectators, land, cars, their contents and accessories, or any other personal property whatsoever, whether caused by their negligence, breach of contract or in any other way whatsoever. Entries are only accepted on this basis. 3. This competition will be run in accordance with Pony Club Show Jumping Rules 2020. It is the responsibility of all competitors to know the rules. Please refer to the main Pony Club website for full rule book. 4. Please bring your horse or pony’s passport and ensure your horse or pony’s vaccination is in date. Spot checks will take place. 5. In the event of cancellation, £5 of each individual entry fee will be retained to defray expenses. 6. The Event organisers reserve the right to run the classes in any order to suit the entries received. 7. The judges’ decision is final in all cases. Video evidence will not be accepted under any circumstances. 8. The warming up of horses/ponies shall take place only in the collecting ring. Horses/ponies may only be ridden by the competitor in the designated warm up area. Horses/ponies must be walked in all other areas. Horses/Ponies cannot be ridden by anyone else other than the competitor. 9. Please ensure that the area around your horseboxes / trailers are left clean and tidy and in particular that all droppings and hay are cleared up. Horses and ponies tied up to the outside of horseboxes or trailers must not be left unattended. 10. No pony can compete more than once in each class and no more than 2 different classes. 11. Hats – Must conform to the latest hat standards and be tagged with aqua tags please. Hat tagging may be requested for £1. 12. Long sleeved jackets/shirts must be worn. 13. Entry fees refunded ONLY on production of doctor's or veterinary certificate within 7 days of the date of the show. 14. Dogs must be kept on leads at all times and remain the responsibility of the owner. If any dog is found loose on the College grounds unattended, then appropriate action will be taken. Dogs are not allowed into the viewing gallery. These are the venue’s rules. 15. Anyone wishing to lodge a complaint will be required to first deposit the sum of £20 with the Secretary within 30 minutes of the incident. If the complaint is not upheld then the £20 will be considered forfeit. 16. In line with current COVID-19 restrictions, there will be no prize giving on the day. All rosettes will be posted out and results published via My Riding Life.
