These lessons are aimed at children both on and off the lead rein who want to gain confidence, have fun and meet new horsey friends. Lessons will vary each week to include flatwork, poles/jumping, games etc
Under normal conditions the lessons will run for a hour with 4 - 6 in a session however due to current BRC Covid guidelines and for an initial period we plan to run the sessions for 40 mins with 3 children per lesson.
Depending on bookings we may run more than one session. Children on the lead rein will need to provide their own leader.
For insurance purposes all attendees must be members of Holme Valley RC (£15 mid year discounted junior membership) and a membership form is attached to this email.
Please state child’s age and ability (i.e on or off lead rein, walk, trot, canter) when booking so that we can group accordingly. If numbers permit the older children will run at 6.20pm.
IMPORTANT PLEASE NOTE - PLEASE ENSURE THAT SOCIAL DISTANCING IS MAINTAINED AT ALL TIMES AND A LIMIT OF ONE PARENT PER CHILD.
PLEASE ENSURE THAT THE EMERGENCY CONTACT DETAILS ARE COMPLETED WHEN BOOKING.
Anyone displaying COVID-19 symptoms, however mild, should stay at home. Anyone who has been in contact with someone that is showing symptoms should stay at home. Anyone considered vulnerable should stay at home.
