30 minutes Flatwork Training (Intro) with Tanya Guy followed by 30 minutes Show Jump training with Kirsty Oliver at 60cm

 

30 minutes Flatwork Training (Prelim) with Tanya Guy followed by 30 minutes Show Jump training with Kirsty Oliver at 75cm

 

30 minutes Flatwork Training (Novice) with Tanya Guy followed by 30 minutes Show Jump training with Kirsty Oliver at 85cm

 

The cost of this event is £35 for members and £40 for non-members. This is an excellent opportunity to train with not 1 but 2 experienced trainers at a fantastic venue. The flatwork will be held in the outdoor arena and the jumping in the indoor area. No more than 2 in a group. The last 2 groups will be used as a team practice for the Combined Training Qualifier at Crofton on the 10th April. The format of this training is the same as the qualifier. We will aim to go through the exact dressage tests they will be using at the qualifier. This event is open to non members as well and those just wanting to come and have a go and not keen to be on a team.

Terms & Conditions

1. All dressage classes to be run under BD Rules 2014. 2. Hats to PAS 015: 1998 or 2011; BSEN 1384: 1997; EN 1384: 1996 Providing they are BSI kite marked, or equivalent must be worn fastened at all times when mounted. Failure to do so will incur elimination. 3. It shall be deemed a condition of entry that the Organisers, the Landowner and his/her agents shall not be held responsible for any loss, injury or damage to competitors, spectators, their property, servants or horses and ponies, howsoever caused, on the show ground. 4. The Organisers have taken all reasonable precautions to ensure the health and safety of everyone present. For those measures to be effective, everyone must take all reasonable precautions to avoid and prevent accidents occurring and must obey the instructions of the Organisers, the Officials and Stewards. 5. All entry fees must accompany entry forms. No entries will be accepted over the telephone or by email. 6. Entries will be refunded on receipt of a Veterinary Surgeon’s or Doctor’s certificate. 7. The Committee retain the right to refuse entries without explanation. 8. In the event of cancellation of the show, entry fees will be refunded less £1 per competitor to cover the administration expenses. 9. Objections must be made direct to the Secretary in writing within 30 minutes of the relevant incident together with a £30 deposit, which will be returnable, if the objection is upheld 10. No competitor shall; Ill treat in any way a horse or pony at the show, whether outside or inside the arena. Misuse or excessive use of whip or spurs. Deliberate use of the action of the bit as a means of punishment and/or misuse any item of saddlery in a manner to cause pain or discomfort to the horse. A competitor who does any of the above will be eliminated and asked to leave the show ground immediately. 11. The decision of the judge will be final in all matters, and the Committee reserve the right to cancel, add to or amend any of the conditions or competitions as they think fit and refuse entries, or to ask any person to leave the Show Ground. 12. No horse or pony under the age of four years may be entered in any of the classes, with the 13. exception of youngstock classes. 14. Please show consideration to other competitors and ONLY canter in the designated areas and not from arena to arena. 15. Correct dress must be worn with exception to ‘Members only Dressage’
