Entries close Saturday 4 April 2020 (Late entries - £10.00 extra – CASH ONLY ON THE DAY space permitting - email Secretary)

JUDGING:
The least jumping penalties plus nearest the ‘Bogey Time’ will determine results.

CROSS COUNTRY:
Competitors will be eliminated after 3 refusals at one jump, after 4 refusals over whole course or 2 rider falls. Riders may only continue on the course with permission from a Petersfield Official/Jump Judge or Steward.

NOTE:
 Failure to report 15 mins before the correct time for will mean the rider risks elimination.
 A tack check will be in operation.
 Hats must be tagged with a current hat tag, and must be checked at Secretary’s desk when collecting number. Tagging can be done at the event as long as hat meets PC 2020 standards.
 A £10.00 CASH deposit is needed to collect your number

Please note: A ONE WAY SYSTEM operates when leaving Fair Oak. ALL Trailers and Horseboxes MUST turn left.

Entries in advance. You can book using our Secure Online Entry System.
Numbers will be strictly limited, so to avoid disappointment early entry is advised.
It is a condition of entry for Petersfield members or their families to provide help for either the morning or afternoon
Payment is secure and it goes directly to Petersfield Pony Club.
You will receive an email confirmation of your booking and payment.

Withdrawals/Refunds

We are very sad but not surprised to have to let you know that all Pony Club activities are to be cancelled with immediate effect in the light of the Government’s recommendations to avoid the spread of COVID-19. Pony Club Head Office are cancelling all centrally organised PC events and competitions and they have advised that all branches cease all activities immediately.

We will be making refunds as soon as we possibly can.

Terms & Conditions

1. The event will be run under The Pony Club Eventing Rules 2020. 2. Competitors are required to produce hats/body protectors at the Secretary’s desk when collecting their number. All riding hats/body protectors must conform to Pony Club Rules 2020. Competitors may not compete without a tagged hat and must wear this at all times when mounted with the chinstrap fastened. Back protectors are compulsory. Air jackets ARE NOT to be worn under any item of clothing. 3. No jewellery is allowed. 4. The judge’s decision is final in all matters. The Committee reserve the right to cancel, add or amend any of the conditions or competitions, as they think fit and to refuse entry at their discretion. Objections must be lodged in writing within 30 minutes of the incident, together with a £10.00 deposit, which will be refunded if the objection is upheld. 5. Withdrawals can be made without forfeit up to the close of entries on Saturday 4 April. Withdrawals made after 4 April will only be refunded with the presentation of a doctor’s or vet’s certificate (less £5.00 administration fee) 6. In the event of cancellation prior to the event a £5.00 administration charge will be made. If the event is cancelled on the day there will be no refund. 7. Entries will be limited and will not be accepted by telephone. 8. Horses and ponies may only enter two classes. 9. Please take all litter and droppings home with you.

Disclaimer of Liability: Save for the death or personal injury caused by the negligence of organisers, or anyone for whom they are in law responsible, neither the organisers of this event or The Pony Club nor any agent, employee or representative of these bodies, nor the landlord or his tenant, accepts any liability for any accident, loss, damage, injury or illness to horses, owners, riders, spectators, land, cars, their contacts and accessories, or any other personal property whatsoever, whether caused by their negligence, breach of contract or in any other way whatsoever. Entries are only accepted on this basis.

Health and Safety: The organisers of this event have taken all reasonable precautions to ensure the health and safety of everyone present at this event.  For these measures to be effective, everyone must take all reasonable precautions to avoid and prevent accidents.  They must obey the instructions of the organisers and all officials and stewards.

Competitors who are not members of The Pony Club are not covered by The Pony Club insurance and must have their own third party cover.  The Petersfield Branch of The Pony Club and the organisers of this event are not legally responsibility for non-Members and their insurance will not cover you. 

Privacy Notice: Please note that we will be publishing the competitors’ times and results on our website, this will include competitors’ name, horse name, branch and full results. If you wish your details to be excluded from these publications please make a note of this on your entry form. Please refer to our branch privacy policy on our website.
