ELIGIBILITY - Open to individual Pony Club Members, but excluding any combination of horse/pony and rider that have represented their Branch/Centre at INTERMEDIATE or above (Summer) Area qualifiers for The Pony Club Show Jumping Championships or any Rider who has competed the Dengie Open Grand Prix Championships or The Pony Club Show Jumping Final at Hickstead. (This does not include any other classes held in conjunction with Area Qualifiers). Riders cannot compete in the Open Grand Prix Area competition if they have ridden in the Area Debut Competition. NB: You may not compete in this class wearing a festive costume

ENTRIES CLOSE SATURDAY 30TH NOVEMBER UNLESS CLASSES ALREADY FULL LATE ENTRIES, IF ACCEPTED £5.00 EXTRA PER HORSE/RIDER COMBINATION
Horse/rider combinations that enter online before the closing date may enter additional classes (except Classes 1 & 2) on the day without incurring the Late Entry Fee

CFPC members must nominate a helper to assist on the day

PRIZE FOR BEST FESTIVE COSTUME IN EACH CLASS (EXCEPT WINTER LEAGUE) NB: You must be able to compete safely in your costume.

Terms & Conditions
This show is open only to Pony Club Branch & Centre Members (except for Winter League Classes)
All classes are strictly limited.
If you enter class 2, the same combination may not enter Class 4 and likewise if you jump in Class 3 the same combination may not jump in Class 5, and if you enter Class 4 the same combination may not jump in Class 6.
Class 1 competitors Numbers will be restricted in this class and therefore allocated on a first come first serve basis. Please check the website www.chiddingfoldfarmers.com for your times from 6pm on Thursday 5th December. There will also be a list in the collecting ring with your jumping order. Please check when you walk the course.
Neither Chiddingfold Farmers’ Branch of the PC nor Merrist Wood can accept responsibility for any loss, damage, accident or injury to horses, owner’s, riders or spectators or to any other person or property. The organisers of this event have taken reasonable precautions to ensure the health and safety of everyone present. For these measures to be effective, everyone must take all reasonable precautions to avoid and prevent accidents occurring and must obey the instructions of the Organisers and all the Officials and Stewards.
If any horse has been in contact with any infectious disease it should not attend the show. PLEASE BRING YOUR PASSPORT TO COLLECT YOUR NUMBER. ENSURE YOU HORSE OR PONY HAS BEEN VACCINATED WITHIN THE LAST YEAR.
A crash helmet with correctly fastened chinstrap/harness must be worn at all times when mounted, as per Pony Club Rule Book. The hat MUST be TAGGED.
The judges’ decision is final.
In the event of cancellation of the Show, £3.00 of each Competitor’s entry fees will be retained to cover expenses and the rest returned via the online entry system (PayPal).
