ARENA EVENTING
These classes are open to everyone, British Eventing members and non-members alike.

FORMAT
There will be 3 phases to the competition that are all linked and run consecutively against the clock. Phase 1 is approx. 6 show jumps, phases 2 is approx. 6 – 8 cross country obstacles which are a mix of solid fences and cross country style jumps made from rustic show jumps (such as a corner). Phase 3 is a further 6 – 7 show jumps which will all be set towards maximum height. Competitors start on the bell and complete the course as fast as possible.

SCORING
5 seconds will be added on for a knock down of a show jump, a total of 3 refusals will incur elimination, 1st fall of rider incurs 10 second penalty, 2nd fall of rider or 1st fall of horse will be elimination. Clear rounds take precedence and the winner is the person with the fastest time following the addition of all penalty time faults. i.e. in the event of a tie the person who has completed with fewest additional penalties will be the winner.
