given to all teams and to the first 6 individuals.
Teams to consist of three or four PC members, only one of
which may be an Associate member. The scores of the best
three to count.
Rules:
1) Tack and turnout according to PC rules 2019.
2) Body protectors advised but not compulsory.
3) There will be a photographer at this event, if you do not want
your child’s photograph displayed, please notify the photographer.
4) Warm up will run as follows: 1 team competing, 1 team waiting
and 2 teams warming up.
5) The jumps in the warm up must not exceed the height of the
jumps in the ring.

** Single Phase (BS rule 287) BS Table A – both sections
Faults to be accumulated over both sections. First and second
section with a time allowed and time limit. Second section against
the clock. The competitor will jump the whole course unless
eliminated. 5-7 fences in each section (minimum 10 fences,

four and receive a qualification card.

CRICKLANDS CHAMPIONSHIPS OF GREAT BRITAIN
The Cricklands Jumping Championships of Great Britain are held on the 9th–
11thAugust (Seniors) and 16th– 18thAugust (Juniors) at the David Broome

Please Note: Registration fee for 2019 is £30 to include all members of the family and
equines owned by the family. For shows held after the 2019 Championship Show,
qualification will be for the 2020 Championship Show
This year’s show is Affiliated to the following:
AREA 9 PONY CLUB SHOW JUMPING CHAMPIONSHIPS 2019
The Area 9 PC Show Jumping Championships will be held on 1stSeptember
2019 at Rectory Farm Arena.
Please Note: You must be a member of an Area 9 Pony Club to qualify for this
championship. If you are not a member, you can jump in the qualifying class but must
become a member before sending your qualification form in.
1. The Committee have the right to refuse entries without having to assign any reason.
2. Any entry fee paid will not be returnable unless the animal is incapacitated by accident, injury or illness.
Any claim under this rule must be made in writing to the Secretary and must be accompanied by a
certificate issued by a Veterinary Surgeon by the day of the show.
3. Entries: All entries must be made online via www.myridinglife.com Entry forms are for use on the day
only accompanied by the correct remittance (CASH ONLY on the day).
4. No entries will be accepted over the telephone.
5. No unauthorised person may enter the show ring or collecting ring.
6. All exhibits are shown at their owner’s risk.
7. All competitors and grooms will follow the Judge’s/Steward instructions.
8. No person shall interfere with or try to influence the judge from inside or outside the ring; or the going of
an exhibit.
9. The Association its officers or staff shall not be responsible for any accident, damage or loss, however
caused, that may occur to any exhibitor, groom, or any animal, article or property, whilst on the showground
or whilst entering or leaving.
10. Objections, which can only be lodged by competitors in the class concerned, must be in writing and
delivered to the Secretary within 30 minutes on completion of judging of class involved. A deposit of £30
must accompany the objection, which will be forfeited if the objection is unsuccessful. The decision of the
Committee will, in any dispute, be final.
11. It is the competitors’ responsibility to wear the correct clothing for their classes. Please check with
the association under whose rules you are competing. All riders and handlers must wear the correct head
gear which should comply with Protective headwear and must meet one of the following standards: BritishPAS 015: 1998 or 2011(provided they are BSI Kitemarked)VG1 01.040: 2014-12 (provided they are BSI
Kitemarked) European - VG1 01.040: 2014-12 (provided they are BSI Kitemarked) American- ASTM F1163:
2004a or 04a onwards provided they are SEI marked SNELL E2001.
12. It is the responsibility of the competitor to arrive on the show ground at least one hour before the
scheduled time of their class to allow for traffic congestion in the vicinity of the show ground. The
timetable is an approximate guide only and the Show Committee reserve the right to alter ring allocation or
the timing of classes as may be necessary. The Secretary and Team will make every effort to avoid clashes
of class, but it is the Competitors responsibility to be at the correct ring for their class and or inform the
Secretary and Team of any potential clash. Classes will not be held up for more than 20 minutes in the case
of a clash. Although every effort will be made, the Association will not be responsible for any loss where an
exhibitor has made entries in more than one class, or because of a class over run, it is not possible for the
exhibitor to compete in one or more later classes. No claim for refund of fees paid or other loss, direct
indirect or consequential will be accepted or paid.
13. All competitors/exhibitors competing in any event shall be deemed to be subject to the rules and
regulations of Berkeley Show.
14. A Veterinary Surgeon and Farrier will be on call.
15. Classes are open to all whether a member or non-member of the affiliated society
16. Pre entries will close on 19thJune 2019.
17. The riding and in hand showing of stallions – competitors should refer to their society rules and comply
explicitly.
