No horse from class 3, 5 or 6 can compete in this class. Fences approx. 3'3". This competition series is run under Sport Horse Breeding Society of Great Britain (SHB (GB) rules. It is the responsibility of competitors to be familiar with these rules; they can be found

ridden hunters must be shod all round. No pads or surgical shoes are allowed.
Hats must conform to the standards specified in the BRC rulebook.
Eligibility: Horses must be 15hh and over. Horses must not have won more than £400 in total in any WH competitions, more than £400 in BS winnings or have more than 45 BE points. Riders must be 18 years old or over on 1 January 2019.
To compete at the final, the rider must be a riding club member.

Qualification: The first three partnerships in each qualifier will qualify for the final even if they did not jump clear. If one of the first three has already qualified, their qualification can be passed down to the fourth placed horse and rider provided they jumped clear.

The show is run under current BRC rules and it is the responsibility of the competitor to be aware of these rules. All riders when mounted, whether competing or not, must wear a hard hat complying with one of the following specifications and with the strap properly adjusted and fastened. I) PAS015 (1998 OR 2011) + BSI KITE MARK OR INSPEC IC MARK II) VG1 01.040 (2014-12) + BSI KITE MARK OR INSPEC 1C MARK III) ASTM F1163 (2004a OR 04a ONWARDS) + OFFICIAL SEI MARK IV) SNELL E2001 OR E2016 + OFFICIAL SNELL LABEL AND NUMBER V) AS/NZS 3838 (2006 ONWARDS) + OFFICIAL SAI GLOBAL MARK It is the rider’s responsibility to ensure they are wearing hats to the correct standard. Any rider found to be using a hat to a lower specification will be disqualified. Neither the organisers, Morris E.C, nor anyone acting on their behalf accept any responsibility for loss, damage or injury to any persons, animals or property whatsoever. Riding club members are covered for Third Party liability under the BRC insurance policy – non-members must have their own third party liability cover. This should be available for inspection if/when requested by the secretary. There will be first aiders present at the show and a vet can be called if required. No farrier will be present. Any incidents or accidents must be reported to the secretary for recording in the accident book. All ridden horses/ponies must be at least 4 years of age. Horses/ponies must only be ridden at walk except in designated warm-up areas. All dogs must be on a short lead at all times. Complaints must be put in writing and given to the show secretary, accompanied by a £20 deposit, within 15 mins of the incident complained of. The deposit will be returned if the complaint is upheld by the organising committee. Anyone under the age of 18 must be accompanied by a responsible adult at all times. The safeguarding contact for this event is Lesley McCulloch – please speak to the secretary if you have any concerns you wish to discuss with Lesley. The organisers reserve the right to refuse entry without having to state a reason and to combine, split or cancel classes if they consider it necessary. The organisers make every effort to avoid classes clashing, but in the event of such a clash, the competitor must decide in which class they wish to compete. In respect of any classes at this show which are qualifiers for subsequent championship shows, compliance with any relevant eligibility criteria for these classes is the competitor’s responsibility and not that of the club or show organisers. Competitors are required to take home any rubbish as a matter of courtesy. Please pick up any droppings from the vicinity of your box/trailer and do not muck out onto the car park. If any competitor travels to the show alone they are advised to inform the secretary of this and include contact details on their entry form of who should be contacted in an emergency. Acceptance of the foregoing provisions is a condition of entry.
