All classes will be run in the indoor arena (Warm up will be outdoors)
All classes are single phase with a timed final section. This means all the competitors jump all the fences.
The timed part of each course will be a little higher.
The competition is run under BRC rules.

Payment Details & Event Fees
Entries will be limited so please enter in advance to avoid disappointment.
Entries will be taken on the day (space permitting) but will not be accepted after the start of each class.

Entry Fees (Excluding First Aid) for all classes:
Clear round (Class 1) £7.00 all entries in advance. £10 Entries on the day.
All other classes (Class 2,3,4,5,6) NRC Members £11.00 Advance Entries Non Members £15.00
Entries on the day £17.00 Cash or Cheque only
First Aid £2 per competitor.
Advanced entries close: Friday 29th March 2019 (Classes may close earlier if full.)

Special Classes
C&T Rider Entrants:
The competition is open to all horse/pony and rider combinations
First, second and third places qualify. ie. 6 per class (3 horses and 3 ponies)
If first, second and third places do not have a membership number, the qualification can pass down the line as far as 5th place.
All horses and ponies must go clear in the first round in order to qualify.
Any winnings subsequent to qualifying will not be taken into account.
Competitors must record their C & T Rider number on the enclosed entry form or online.

Equine Influenza Outbreak
In light of the recent confirmed Equine Influenza (flu) outbreaks, we urge owners to be extra vigilant of the clinical signs of the virus and to contact their vet immediately if they have any concerns.
PLEASE DOWNLOAD OUR ADVICE DOCUMENT AT THE TOP OF THE SCHEDULE

1. NOTE NEW HAT RULES. All riders, whether competing or not, must wear the correct headgear with a harness properly adjusted and fastened – skull caps must be worn with a dark silk. Hats must conform to at least one of the following standards Hats must conform to at least one of PAS 015:1998 or 2011, VG1 01.040 (2014-12) and must also be kite marked or SEI. All SEI ASTM F1163:2004, SNELL E2001. All SAI AS/NZS 3838: 2006 onwards. Failure to wear approved headgear will incur elimination. Riders are responsible for their own safety and failure to wear the correct headgear will result in elimination. 2. Correct riding attire must be worn at all times. 3. No liability shall fall on the Organisers, Landowners, Judges or Officials in respect of any loss, damage or injury howsoever caused and all competitors are deemed to be liable to indemnify the said persons in respect of any such loss, damage or injury. 4. It is taken that online entries have agreed to abide by the rules and conditions of entry. 5. Every effort will be made to keep to the schedules, but we reserve the right to alter the order and composition of classes or to cancel them. 6. Any competitor may be warned or disqualified for improper or excessive use of whips, spurs, etc…or other actions which the Judges or Officials consider warrants such penalty. 7. All horses being ridden on the showground must be 4 years or older. 8. Stallions must be handled or ridden by people who are 14 years old or over on 1st January 2018. 9. The ruling of the judges is final. All complaints must be put in writing and handed in to the secretary with a deposit of £20 within 15 minutes of the incident, returnable if the objection is upheld. 10. Entries may be refused without reason being given. 11. A refund (less administration fee) will be issued for withdrawn entries on production of a medical/veterinary Certificate or at the Secretary’s discretion. 12. Change of horse and/or rider must be notified to the Secretary 15 minutes before the start of the class or the entry will become void. 13. All dogs must be kept on leads (non-extending) at all times. 14. It is the responsibility of the competitors to know the rules – our stewards and officials are there to help and advice. Please remember our helpers are volunteers. 15. Show Jumping practice jumps will be flagged (red flag on the right) and must only be jumped in the direction indicated. Anyone breaking this rule may be disqualified. 16. Entry to BCA events does not entitle competitors to use other equine facilities. Anyone found on the grass rides will be banned from all future events at BCA.
