1. Legal Liability – Save for death or personal injury caused by the negligence of the organisers or anyone for whom they are in law responsible, neither the organisers of the event to which these rules apply, nor the British Horse Society, nor any agent, employee or representative of these bodies accepts any liability for any accident, loss, damage, injury or illness to horses, owners, riders, spectators, land, vehicle or their contents and accessories, or any other person or property whatsoever, whether caused by negligence, breach of contract or in any other way whatsoever. 2. The event is organised in accordance with the Health & Safety Legislation and all who have control of the premises or site at the event are responsible for ensuring that everything reasonably practicable is done to ensure the health and safety and welfare of those attending the event. They conduct themselves to that they do not put themselves or anyone else at risk. Access to and egress from the site is safe. Emergency services must have access to all parts of the event site at all times. 3. Competitors must be correctly dressed for the event. Hats to new BRC standards please see British riding clubs Website. Correct footwear must be worn. Body protectors and Non-Fixed Peak Hats MUST be worn for all XC jumping. 4. Judges’ decisions are final and no entry fees will be refunded unless the class is cancelled. 5. Any member of Bath Riding Club Committee, Judge or Steward has the right to ask any rider or persons abusing the use of whip or spurs, using ill fitting or dangerous tack or acting in an offensive manner to leave the field forfeiting all fees. 6. The organisers reserve the right to refuse entry, cancel classes, divide or amend any class or restrict the number of entries in any class. 7. No Horse/Pony under the age of 4 years may compete. 8. All dogs must be kept on leads. 9. Parking – please park sensibly where requested making sure not to block any access. 10. Prizes issues 1st to 3rd places, ratio one prize to 8 entries.
