Competitors need to enter TWO classes on either the Saturday or the Sunday at the level in which they have qualified from Intro - Elementary and ONE class for the PYO & Music Championship on Sunday 23rd September

Scores from the two tests at Intro-Elementary level are added together for a final Championship score.

PYO Championship Class. For any rider who has qualified with a qualifying score of 60% or more in a PYO long arena test. Riders should compete at the level in which they qualified. Choose from Prelim 17A, Novice 22, Elementary 40, Medium 61, Advanced Medium 85, Advanced 102, FEI PSG, FEI INT I, FEI INT II or FEI GP. For riders who have gained 60% or more in a BRC, BE or PC test and who wish to compete at the Championship show they must choose one of the above classes. Highest % wins the class. Please state test choice in class notes. Competitors ride one test for the PYO Championship.

Music Freestyle Championship Class. Freestyle Dressage to Music PYO Intro to Grand Prix. Please state test when entering the class. All tests must be ridden in a 60x20m arena except for Intro tests which can be ridden in a 40x20m arena. Any rider who has qualified for the Championships is eligible to enter the Music class at the level in which they qualified. Competitors ride one test for the Music Championship.

Entries will be accepted up until Tuesday 18th September.

Late entries will be accepted if space allows

Riders must ride two tests to be eligible for Championship placing and prizes from Intro - Elementary. Competitors ride one test for the PYO and Music Championship.

The entry fees for the Championship classes are as follows: Intro, Prelim, Novice, Elementary - £35 members/£40 non-members (this cost covers two classes); PYO and Music - £20 members/£25 non-members (competitors ride one test for the PYO and Music Championship.)

All tests are current BD tests.


Usual sections apply - riders must ride in either the restricted or the open section at preliminary and novice level. The Intro championship is for restricted riders only
All riders who have qualified for the championships can also enter the music championship class for the level in which they have qualified which will be held on Sunday 23rd September. Riders who enter the championship music class must ride their test in a 60 x 20m arena (Intro riders may compete in a 40x20m arena if they enter the music championship class.)
Bridle or saddle pad numbers required as no longer using cardboard numbers. Two numbers MUST be worn either on the bridle or saddle pad.
Please declare on day of competition at BFEC to the steward for test locations.
Dogs MUST be on a lead.
All Bury Farm EC unaffiliated dressage events are run in the spirit of BD rules

As this is a Championship show whips and commanders are not allowed. Appropriate dress is required including jackets.

Prize Information

Championship rosettes to 8th place in each class.

Special prizes will be awarded throughout the show.

Special Classes

Championship prize givings will be held on both days. Special prizes will be awarded throughout the show.

Rosettes will be awarded 1st-8th place for each Championship class.

Dressage Master Class will take place for the benefit of all competitors and spectators each day.

Refreshments:

 Paddocks cafe will be open prior to and during competiton hours serving hot and cold food, drinks, snacks and light refreshments.

Withdrawals/Refunds

The refund policy will be applied to this show as per BD rules.

By entering any equestrian class or competition run or held at Bury Farm EC you acknowledge that you are taking part in a risk sport and are a competent rider at the level to which you are competing.
