Working Hunter Pony, mare or gelding, 4 years old and over, not exceeding 153cms.
Riders must be the correct age for the animal they ride. To be run as one class, fences will be adjusted for each height section. Height sections as follows:
309A Mare or gelding, 4 years old and over, not exceeding 133cms. Riders not to have attained
their 14th birthday before 1st January in the current year.
309B Mare or gelding, 4 years old and over, exceeding 133cms but not exceeding 143cms. Riders
not to have attained their 17th birthday before 1st January in the current year.
309C Mare or gelding, 4 years old and over, exceeding 143cms but not exceeding 153cms. Riders
not to have attained their 20th birthday before 1st January in the current year.
309D Open Intermediate Working Hunter, mare or gelding, 4 years or over, exceeding 148cms
and not exceeding 158cms. Riders not to have attained their 25th birthday before 1st January in
the current year.
The course should consist of not less than 7 fences and should contain a change of direction and a spread
fence. The course must be built between the minimum and maximum heights, according to the condition
of the ring and the standard of entry. In mixed height classes, the fences must be adjusted according to
the heights of ponies in the class and ponies MUST jump within their correct height section.

Championship to be held at the East of England Showground in August 2019.

Entry fee refunds – All competitors unable to attend may apply for a 50% refund of entry fees. A 75% refund may be claimed ONLY where a valid Veterinary Certificate is produced. All refunds must be requested in writing to the Show Office or Entries Secretary, no later than 14 days from the date of show. In order to qualify for a refund all badges and passes MUST be returned, un-used.

ALL CUPS MUST BE RETURNED AT LEAST TWO WEEKS PRIOR TO THE NEXT SHOW, WHICH WILL BE HELD ON 14th September 2019. 1- Every Competitor must wear correct riding costume. For all ridden classes this must include protective headgear, adhering to either PAS015 or (BS) EN1384 double marked with another standard such as Snell or PAS015, which must be worn and fastened at all times whilst mounted. 2- All in-hand competitors under the age of 14 are required to wear protective headgear, adhering to either PAS015 or (BS) EN1384 double marked with another standard such as Snell or PAS015, whilst exhibiting in the show rings. 3- Horses must keep to designated areas only. 4- Horse passports to be carried at all times. 5- Each Exhibitor shall be solely responsible for any consequential or other loss, injury, or damage done to or occasioned by, or arising from any animal exhibited by him and shall indemnify and hold harmless the Henley & District Agricultural Association Limited in respect thereof as aforesaid. 6- Neither the Association nor any of its officers or servants shall be in any way responsible or accountable for anything that may happen from any cause or circumstance whatsoever to any persons, or exhibitors, or their servants or to any animal or article exhibited, or property brought into the Showground or otherwise for anything else in connection with, or arising out of, or attributable to the Association’s Show, or these or any other conditions or regulations prescribed by the Association in relation thereto. 7- Entry fee refunds – All competitors unable to attend may apply for a 50% refund of entry fees. For LR and FR classes, 1 extra people pass will be allocated per pony. Extra passes may be purchased via the entry forms or on the show website. THE VEHICLE PASSES DO NOT ADMIT THE DRIVER OR OTHER OCCUPANTS. EACH PASSENGER NOT IN POSSESION OF A PEOPLE PASS WILL BE CHARGED ENTRANCE FEES AS PER ADVERTISED PRICING. RANDOM VEHICLE CHECKS WILL BE PERFORMED. The above conditions shall expressly apply to all horses and those in charge of them within the showground and it’s car parks. Cars and Vehicles: No responsibility is accepted for cars or other vehicles and/or their contents left in the Official Car Park, on the Showground, or elsewhere, before, during or after the Show at any time.
