After the fabulous success of the nail-biting 2017 competitions, Osberton International Horse Trials is once again hosting its fabulous Gate Jumping! The competition is open to people who regularly hunt. They must be dressed in full hunting kit and a crash hat is compulsory. You may only enter if you (the rider) are NOT already competing at Osberton Horse Trials on Sunday. The aim of the competition is to jump the gate without knocking it down. If it falls you may buy yourself a life (up to 3 at the discretion of the commentator) by removing one item of clothing. Crash hats may not be removed. The winner will be the person to jump the highest gate with the most clothes on!!
The gate will start at approximately 3ft (90cm) and will rise 1 hole each round. Are you the ultimate thruster? Enter here to prove it to the Osberton crowds!

Payment Details & Event Fees

HORSES AND/OR RIDERS WHO ARE COMPETING IN THE HORSE TRIALS ON SUNDAY ARE NOT PERMITTED TO ENTER THE GATE JUMPING.
Entries in advance only: online entries only. No telephone entries accepted. You can enter using our Secure Online Entry System.
Payment is secure and it goes directly to BEDE Events Ltd.
You will receive an email confirmation of your class entry and payment.

Entry Fee: £25.

Prize Information
Prizes money will be split this year for 1st, 2nd & 3rd place 1st - £300 2nd - £100 3rd - £100

Withdrawals/Refunds
CANCELLATION POLICY: In the event of bad weather, the Osberton Gate Jumping may need to be cancelled for safety reasons. If the weather on the day of the show puts you in any doubt, please check the Facebook page. The Organisers will also send an email to each entrant as soon as any decision is taken – please check your inbox and your junk box for any communication on the day prior to setting off. If you are still in doubt, please call 07464 803781 as a last resort as this number will be very busy. If the gate jumping is cancelled, competitors will not automatically gain entry to the rest of the Osberton International Horse Trials unless a ticket is purchased.

WITHDRAWALS POLICY: Competitors who withdraw their entry before the close of entries on Wednesday 26th September 2018 will be refunded less a £5.00 administration fee. Withdrawals must be received by email to info@bedeltd.co.uk

Terms & Conditions
• Must be dressed in hunting attire • Hats must be up to the current safety standard • The winner will be the person with the most clothes on that jumps the highest fence • Horses competing must not have over 400 British Showjumping points (limits horses to not have competed over Foxhunters (1.20)
