These classes are for young, athletic horses that have the conformation and movement in walk and trot to make a top class Event horse. All exhibits except foals should be presented plaited and in a bridle with a snaffle bit. Handlers should be neatly dressed with hard hats and suitable

NOTE: When entering online you must send a photocopy of the horse's passport papers to prove eligibility for the classes.
The horse’s pedigree must show a minimum of Sire, Dam and Dam’s sire and year of birth.


This Show is for Mares, Foals, Yearlings, 2 Year-Old & 3 Year-Old Horses in conjunction with the KBIS British Eventing Young Horse Championships
If sufficient entries, classes will be split into Colts/Geldings and Fillies.

JUDGING RULES
1. The Judges’ decision is final and no correspondence will be entered into.
2. Entrants will be expected to follow instructions as required.
3. Any animal considered by Officials to be out of control will be removed from the arena.
4. Objections must be lodged with the Secretary in writing with a deposit of £25 within 30 minutes of the end of the class and the decision of the Panel will be final.

Entry Fee: £40 (on Line), £50 (via postal entry)

Prize Information
Prizes in each class: 1st - £100, 2nd - £70, 3rd - £50, 4th - £30 Rosettes 1st – 6th
Special Rosette to Best Colt and Best Filly in each class
(Prize money will be awarded on a basis of one award per 4 horses. ie: 3 entries 1st prize only, 5 entries 2 prize awards)
Champion - £500 Reserve Champion - £300

1. British Bred colts, geldings or fillies with papers issued by a stud book Passport Issuing Organisation (PIO) listed with DEFRA.
2. British Bred colts, geldings or fillies with papers from a foreign stud book that have been over-stamped by a stud book PIO listed with DEFRA
3. Imported colts, geldings or fillies with papers from a foreign stud book that have been over-stamped by a stud book PIO listed with DEFRA
4. Imported colts, geldings or fillies with papers from a foreign mother stud book and whose importation into the UK has been notified to its appropriate stud book PIO listed with DEFRA.
*Entries must be accompanied by a photocopy/scan of the horse's passport papers to prove eligibility for the classes. The horse’s pedigree must show a minimum of Sire, Dam and Dam’s sire and year of birth. This must be sent to BEDE Events Ltd, Cottage 5, Shelford Manor, Shelford, Nottingham NG12 1ES, or emailed to entries@bedeltd.co.uk with IN-HAND CLASSES in the subject title. Your entry will not be accepted until breeding has been verified. ALL PAPERWORK MUST BE RECEIVED BY CLOSE OF ENTRIES
NB. A stud book PIO is one that is primarily concerned with verification and recording of breeding and is able to provide verified breeding data. Commercial PIO's (eg Pet-ID, Pleasure Horse Society, Horse Passport Agency, BSJA etc.) which exist solely to provide passports for equines as per DEFRA regulations and have no responsibility for verifying and/or recording breeding information or for providing verified breeding data are not stud book PIO's and original passports supplied by these or foreign passports over-stamped by these organisations will not be considered sufficient proof of identity and breeding unless the original passport of papers have also been over-stamped by a stud book PIO listed with DEFRA
