All show jumping classes will be run as one height class and split into a junior section for riders aged 16 years and under and a senior section for riders over 16. Separate prizes will apply for each junior and senior section.

Payment Details & Event Fees
Postal entries can be made to the secretary up until 8pm on Saturday 29th July. All entries after this time will incur a charge of £2 on top of the cost of the class entry fee and will be classed as an ‘on the day’ entry. To enter:
A: Complete an Entry Form and send it together with your cheque made payable to "Kimpton Horse Show".
B: You can enter using a Secure Online Entry System.
Payment is secure and it goes directly to Kimpton Horse Show.
You will receive an email confirmation of your class entry and payment.
FIRST AID: £2.50 per person
Horseboxes and trailers admitted free. Unless a car pass is displayed, all cars will be charged for entry whether or not containing competitors.
Prizes and awards
All cups and trophies awarded are perpetual challenge trophies and therefore must be returned within 1 year. A deposit of £30 will be required for each cup taken from the showground. An administration fee of £5 will be charged if the cups are not returned by June 30th for the coming year’s show. We reserve the right to issue replica trophies.
The Harding Perpetual Challenge Trophy
This Trophy will be awarded to the combination of horse and rider who accumulates the greatest number of points throughout the Show. Points will be awarded in all classes except Gymkhana, Fancy Dress, Personality Pony and Clear Round Jumping, as follows:
1st. Place - 12 Points 2nd. Place - 8 Points
3rd. Place - 4 Points 4th. Place - 2 Points
The Wren Perpetual Challenge Trophy
This Trophy will be awarded to the combination of horse and rider who accumulates the second greatest number of points throughout the Show. Points will be awarded in all classes except Gymkhana, Fancy Dress, Personality Pony and Clear round jumping, as above.

The Showing Register
TSR Riders & In Hand Regional Finals - This show is a qualifier for the 2016 TSR Regional Finals. Qualify and enter ANY of the Regional Finals Central, East Anglia, North West, North East, South East, South, Wales & South West or Scottish. You Do Not have to be a TSR member to qualify or enter a final. The Rider/Handler qualifies and can enter any horse/pony in any number of Finals!
TSR Riders Finals - 1st & 2nd riders qualify and will receive a qualification card in the ring.
TSR In Hand Finals - The two highest placed Handlers with a TSR In Hand Card will qualify in any In Hand class. Handlers MUST have their cards signed in the ring by the judge/steward, cards are available FREE from the TSR website. Full details at http://www.theshowingregister.co.uk

Veteran Horse Society
AREA QUALIFIER
First round qualifier for the Veteran Horse Society Supreme Final: VETERAN HORSE OF THE YEAR Kindly Sponsored by Allen & Page.
Open to members and non-members. All competitors and grooms must adhere to VHS Rules in all circumstances. Failure to do so may result in immediate disqualification.
VHS Regional Final qualification. All competitors placed 1st to 4th in each Area Qualifier class will qualify for the corresponding class at VHS Regional Finals. Members must have their showing card signed by the judge in the ring as proof of qualification. Non-members will receive a red qualification card which can be exchanged for signed showing card when applying for VHS membership.
Regional Finals are open to members only.
Young Rider Championship qualification. A Young Rider rosette and qualification will be awarded to the young rider of the Judge’s choice, entitling them to enter the Young Rider Championship at the National Veteran Open Championships. This award is given at the Judge’s discretion.
All competitors are eligible to enter open classes at the National Veteran Open Championships, 23rd – 25th September. No qualification or membership necessary. See VHS website for schedule.

Sunshine Tour
The Sunshine Tour is a fun and thrilling National Unaffiliated Championship Series featuring Dressage, Show Jumping, Showing and Eventers Challenge. For the second year running, the Championships are being held on the ‘hallowed turf’ of The All England Showground at Hickstead from 14th – 17th September 2017.
There’s a wide choice of championship classes to qualify for and fantastic prizes to be won. All you need to do is be placed 1st to 4th in a qualifying class!
We offer qualifier classes in:
Dressage from Intro to Elementary, including Junior ‘Special’ and familiarisation classes.
Show Jumping from 30cm to 1.05m for minis, juniors and senior teams.
Showing for in-hand, ridden, lead rein, veterans, ridden, working hunter plus many more.
Eventers Challenge from 70cm to 1m for all ages of riders.

Cantering or galloping on the showground, except in the rings or in the immediate vicinity of the practice ring, is strictly prohibited. Anyone violating this rule is liable to be disqualified from all classes with no refund on entry fees.
Unfortunately we are unable to accommodate colts or stallions on the showground.
No lunging of horses or ponies on the showground or in practice rings
Proof of age may be required in appropriate classes where age limits apply, prize money may be withheld until this is produced.
Age as on the day of the show unless otherwise stated.
For safety reasons hard hats to at least current BS standard must be worn at all times when mounted on the showground and a jacket must be worn when jumping. Body protectors are also recommended.
In the event of classes clashing or running late, entry fees WILL NOT be refunded; competitors must choose which class they want to compete in. Refund of entry fees will only be made on production of a doctors or vets certificate. Entrants arriving late will not be admitted into a class unless at the judge’s discretion.
Any objection to any award must be lodged in writing at the secretary’s caravan, on the showground, within thirty minutes of the end of the judging of the class in question. The objector must pay a deposit of £10 to the secretary when the objection is lodged.
Neither the committee, nor any judge or steward or other official shall be liable for injury to the person, the horse or any other personal property of any competitor, spectator, or other person, however arising. It is an express condition of entry that each competitor shall hold the committee, judges, stewards and other officials harmless in respect of all such injury or damage.
Authorised officials and competitors ONLY are allowed in the ring. The decision of the judges and committee is final.
