Sponsor and dates for JAS and Jump Training 2014

We are delighted to confirm that Baileys Horse Feeds are continuing to support British Evening's winter training competitions Jumping and Style (JAS) and Jump Training once again in 2014 as title sponsors. Baileys are long-standing sponsors of both classes and have in recent years added fantastic prizes to the Championship winners including training clinics with Baileys sponsored rider and Olympic gold medalist Blyth Tait.

Baileys Horse Feeds Marketing Manager, Jane Buchan, said of the continued partnership; "We are delighted to continue our support of the British Eventing JAS and Jump Training competitions. They are proving to be invaluable training series and fit with our overall ethos of providing horse owners with sound practical advice to improve performance and understanding."

With the final UK competition of the 2013 season taking place last weekend, now is the perfect time to plan ahead for the 2014 season. Preparation is key, and the popular Baileys Horse Feeds winter series competitions Jumping And Style (JAS) and Jump Training offer both members and non-members the chance to compete and receive invaluable feedback from well-known riders and British Eventing (BE) Accredited coaches over the winter months.

Full dates and details are now on Equine Affairs for both Competitions. 2014 Jump Training Championship Round-up and Read the 2014 JAS Championship Round-up

The British Horse Society team up with Champion for the 2015 National Riding Schools Championships July 2014

The British Horse Society is delighted to announce that Champion will be sponsoring the 2015 National Riding Schools Championship. Rachael Hollely, Approvals Field Delivery Manager for the BHS says, “We are thrilled to be working with such a prestigious company where safety is at the forefront of their minds at all times, we hope that their support will help this fabulous Championship go from strength to strength.” Champion are also excited by the new partnership, according to Sarah-Jane Fedarb, Managing Director, Champion Manufacturing, “We are delighted to sponsor the British Horse Society Riding Schools Championship. These riding schools are where it all starts for many riders. BHS approved Riding Schools are often where people put their feet in stirrups for the first time, where they first experience the wonderful relationship that can be built with a horse, and where a life-long passion can be ignited. Nothing is more important than safety when it comes to starting and progressing as a horse rider. Here at Champion we have been working tirelessly for over 30 years to produce British made products that allow riders to enjoy their horses while keeping them as safe as possible. We are looking forward to continuing such a tradition of innovation and our total dedication to rider safety for the next 30 years and beyond.” Qualifiers started from 1 July nationwide and those lucky enough to qualify will head to Warwickshire College for the final on 8 April 2015.

Big Feed Brands Work Together!! Oct 2013

Visitors to Baileys Horse Feeds' tradestands and revamped web site, this summer, may have noticed evidence of a new partnership between Baileys and the makers of Speedi-Beet and Fibre-Beet, British Horse Feeds. Having distributed these unique quick-soak fibre providers alongside their own range since 2010, Baileys are actively promoting their benefits to customers and advising how to integrate them into a tailored feeding programme.

As their "preferred beet choice", both Speedi-Beet and Fibre-Beet can be fed with Baileys' mixes, cubes and balancers, as well as representing nutritious forage alternatives. Baileys Director of Nutrition, Liz Bulbrook, explains, "Speedi-Beet and Fibre-Beet give us further "strings to our bow" when we are finding solutions to customers' feeding challenges. They are versatile low starch fibre sources which can be used to provide non-heating energy or to supplement or replace part of the forage ration."

Horse owners can visit both the Baileys and British Horse Feeds web sites for advice on how best to integrate Speedi-Beet and Fibre-Beet into their feeding regimes. There is specialist section on Baileys' extensive "Feeding Answers" page, while British Horse Feeds explain feeding rates and preparation with informative articles and videos. The brands will also be neighbours at Your Horse Live at Stoneleigh, in November, so horse owners can get hands-on practical advice on including beet in the diets of all kinds of horses.

  • Champion – Bespoke Body Protector Design for Ladies only!

    Champion Hats

By introducing superlative flexibility into a design that offers a fit especially tailored for the female figure, without compromising protection and safety, Champion has designed its most comfortable body protector to date. This exceptional comfort is offered by a darted and tailored bust design, a slim and sculptured underarm for a close contact fit, and a broad shoulder panel with enhanced weight distribution.

However the benefits of the Freedom and Vanguard don't stop there. Champion's team of designers have come up with a revolutionary multi layered "Cut-Flex®" manufacturing process to maximise the body protectors Ultra light foams flexibility. In conjunction with this a new "HingeTek®" system has been incorporated into the tail of both the Freedom and Vanguard which allows the bottom of the protector to mould into the nape of the lower back which gives an unparalleled fit when Rider is in contact with the saddle. And by utilising a high-tech Polygiene treated inner lining with its powerful anti-bacterial and anti-odour properties, Champion have ensured that the Freedom and Vanguard will stay fresh 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, 365 days a year.

Both the Freedom and Vanguard offer all these excellent features and benefits and the difference between them is simple. The Vanguard Body Protector is a Tabard design while the Freedom incorporates a zipped front for ease of fitting while dressed for riding. To ensure that the Freedom offers similar levels of adjustability as the Vanguard, 4 elasticated side straps have been incorporated into the design, for great adjustment and the perfect fit.

The Freedom and Vanguard are available in 6 sizes: GL (Girls Large), GXL (Girls X-tra Large), WS (Women Small), WM (Women Medium), WL (Women Large) and WXL (Women X-tra Large) and they are they are available in 3 back lengths.

The Freedom is available in black with silver piping and is priced from £102 - £152 depending on size
The Vanguard in black/ gunmetal and is priced from £85 - £132 depending on size
