Competitors please note this competition will be held at: CCR Competition Centre, Chambers Farm, Naas lane, Brookthorpe, Gloucester GL4 0XA. Check out their website for details of their facilities. www.ccrequestrian.com

The jumping will be on a lovely Andrews Bowen surface, NOT grass this year. Good access for horseboxes, with plenty of parking on hardstanding.

We are giving great prize money again this year, thanks to the generosity of our sponsors, all prizes detailed in the schedule will be given regardless of entry numbers. In addition quality rugs and sashes will be presented to the winners.

All classes will be run under British Showjumping rules. Full schedule is available on www.britishshowjumping.co.uk

Entries are confined to registered horses to be ridden by members in accordance with Rule 79.

Stallions must be handled/ridden in accordance with Rule 82.21

Full entry fees must be paid on entry. Refunds according to BS rule 70.5.

Mounted prizegiving is required. Prize money will be sent by BACS, please ensure you complete the forms provided in the Secretary’s with your BACS details.

Winners of cups are asked to collect and sign for them from the Secretary’s. A £20 deposit will be required. Winning exhibitors are asked to make their own arrangements re engraving. All cups are perpetual and are to be held for the period between shows. All cups must be returned in time for the 2024 show.

Please be aware of changes to the Ticket to ride system- All tickets must be purchased directly from BS, it is the riders responsibility to make sure ticket codes are provided when entering. https://www.britishshowjumping.co.uk/membership/Day-Tickets-to-Ride This show will be attended by an external First Aider. A First Aid fee of £2 per rider will be added to the entries.

1. No un-authorised person may enter the show ring or collecting ring.
2. All exhibits are shown at their owner’s risk.
3. All competitors and grooms will follow the Judge’s/Steward instructions.
4. No person shall interfere with or try to influence the judge from inside or outside the ring; or the going of an exhibit.
5. Neither CCR nor The Berkeley Hunt Agricultural Society, its officers or staff shall not be responsible for any accident, damage or loss, however caused, that may occur to any exhibitor, groom, or any animal, article or property, whilst on the showground or whilst entering or leaving.
6. Objections in accordance the BS Rule 198.
7. All riders must wear the correct head gear with the chinstrap securely fastened when mounted anywhere on the showground. Hats must be in accordance with BS rules and regulations.
8. All competitors competing at this show shall be deemed to be subject to the rules and regulations of Berkeley Show.
9. A Veterinary Surgeon will be on call.
10. All horse and ponies brought to the show must be in perfect health and not have been in contact with any animal suffering from an infection or disease.
11. All British Showjumping horses must have been vaccinated within the last 12 months, see BS Rulebook.
12. Dogs must be kept on leads and under control at all times. All mess must be collected and taken away.
13. Please do not muck out horse boxes on CCR premises. Please clear up any mess your animal makes.
14. Please take all litter away with you.
15. There will be a photographer at this event, if you do not want your photograph displayed, please notify the photographer

HEALTH AND SAFETY
• All exhibitors should ensure they have adequate Public Liability Insurance.
• Exhibitors are reminded that they are responsible for the observation by themselves and their associates of all Health and Safety at Work Regulations. Any item of risk or hazard should be reported to the Horse Secretary’s tent immediately.
