Senior Competitors will receive one rider and vehicle pass Juniors will receive 2 Passes and vehicle pass - any additional passes will need to be purchased either before the event or on the gate.

This is a team competition for British Riding Club Members only. The competition will run under British Riding Club Show Jumping Rules 2019. Teams can consist of three or four members with up to two junior members per team. One rider per class. Each class will be single phase over a course of show jumps. The second section of the course will be timed and will be 5cms higher than the class height (i.e.: 75cms, 85cms, 95cms and 105cms max) except the Joker fence, which will be 5cms-10cms above the class height (i.e.: 80cm, 90cm, 1m & 1.10m). The final fence will be a choice between a Joker fence and a final show jumping fence.  The regular final fence will incur standard show jumping penalties. However, if the Joker is jumped clear, 5 seconds will be deducted from the rider’s time score, but the Joker will incur increased penalties. See table below:

The winning team will be the team with the lowest accumulated points scored over the team’s best three rounds. In each class points will be allocated to each competitor according to their placing (i.e. 1st= 1 point, 10th= 10 points, 20th= 20 points etc).  In the event of equality of points the team with the lowest team time score over the best three rounds will win.  In the event of a team time score tie, the lowest time score for the 1m class will be taken. If the drop score is the 1m round, the 90cm rider’s time score will be used.

Teams canconsist of three or four memberswith up to two junior members per team. One rider per class

Special Classes

Bozeat will be running a Member Point system awarded at all Bozeat Events. Member Points are then accrued throughout the year as follows: 1st highest placed member 6 points 2nd highest placed member 5 points 3rd highest placed member 4 points 4th highest placed member 3 points 5th highest placed member 2 points 6th highest placed member 1 point Happy Riding

REFUND POLICY: 100% refund will be given for withdrawals before Closing Date.
No refund after the Closing date unless replaced in which case a refund will be subject to a £4 admin fee.
Entries received after Closing date will not be eligible for a refund.
In the event of illness or injury No refunds will be given without the production of a Vet or GP letter

Show Jumping Rules

 

·       It is a condition of entry that each competitor has read, understood and agreed to abide by these rules.

·       This competition will be run in accordance with British Riding Club Rules. 

·       All classes will be run as a BSJA Single Phase Competition, a course in two parts with second part timed. All will jump against the clock immediately after their first round, even with faults unless eliminated. Exception to BSJA rules is that it is 3 refusals for elimination. Winner is the rider with the fewest (or zero) faults with the fastest time in the second section

·       The organisers & landowners do not accept any liability for damage, accident, injury or illness to horses, riders, spectators or personal property

·       Hard hats to current BSI Standards must be worn at all times when mounted

·       The Organizers reserve the right to alter, add to or cancel any Class, and to refuse any entry without stating a reason.

·       No Misuse of the Whip, equipment or Practise fences will be allowed

·       Practice fences jump must not be higher than the current class height  

·       Horses/Ponies must be 4yrs old and over

·       Horses must not be left unattended whilst tied up to your lorry/trailer

·       The Judge’s decision is final.

·       Objections must be made within 15 minutes of the offence and must be accompanied by £15, which will be refunded if the objection is sustained.

·       Entries taken Online in advance or On the Day with a £2 surcharge per entry

·       Please remove all droppings/hay from the lorry park

·       An adult must supervise children at all times

·       All dogs must be kept on the lead and under control at all times

·       Hair above the hair collar

·       PHOTOGRAPHER ATTENDING - if you do not wish your child to be photographed, please notify the Secretary upon entry

·       You do not need to be a member of a British Riding Club to enter this competition but it is strongly recommended that if you are not you carry some form of 3rd Party Public Liability Insurance.
