Welcome to membership of Equine Affairs. Set out below are the terms and conditions of your membership. These terms and conditions are binding on you and form the basis of the contractual relationship between you and Equine Affairs.

1. What Equine Affairs Will Do
1.1 In consideration of payment by you of the membership fee set out in Clause 2 below, and your compliance with these terms, Equine Affairs will register you as a member and provide you with a unique password and ID to enable you to access the Members Only part of the website.
1.2 Equine Affairs will use all reasonable endeavours to provide you with the personalised diary service, access to all databases and directories containing information likely to be of interest to you, links to other websites, entry to [competitions and league tables on the website] and to provide you with the information, schedules and contacts advertised on the website.
2. Payment
2.1 Your membership fee depends upon the package chosen by you. Refunds of membership fees will not be made under any circumstances, [unless you choose to upgrade or change your chosen package] [and save as provided in Clause 5 below].

7. Cancellation of your membership
7.1 Equine Affairs reserves the right to cancel your membership immediately and without notice to you in the event that you fail to make any payment due to Equine Affairs, or breach any terms and conditions of membership. Refunds will not be made to you in the event of termination by Equine Affairs under this Clause 7.
7.2 You may terminate your membership of Equine Affairs at any time on giving not less than [30] prior written days notice to Equine Affairs at the address indicated on the website. Please note that refunds of membership fees will not be made.
9. General
9.1 This website and these terms and conditions are governed and to be construed in accordance with English law and you hereby submit to the exclusive jurisdiction of the English Courts in the event of any claim or dispute arising in connection with these terms and conditions, or your use of the website.
9.2 The contract between Equine Affairs and you is not intended to benefit any third party and the provisions of the Contracts (Rights of Third Parties) Act 1999 are hereby excluded in full.
